Yes, this is another reason why Jones was dumped and we won't make any big FA signings this year even if we could...we have a lot of young studs to pay.

    its a conditional 2011.

he sucks, its a 3rd rounder... he does well and actually looks like he did in his rookie year - its a 2nd rounder, but the passing D will be one of the best.

Not crazy about Cromartie but he has great size and great hands. He will have plenty of chances for picks

It is just annoying how his deal is up next year... as if we needed another guy to resign. But yes this is a win-win situation.

    I would hate that.
I, actually, would not have a problem with that.
    That would be great.

I'm now hoping OLine and DLine in 1 and 2 depending on who is available, unless a pass rusher like Graham falls.

I hope everyone on this board understands how huge this is for our team. We are dominant against the run and now we have 2 shutdown guys in our secondary....Im in shock right now

What happens if there's a lockout, thus no draft in 2011? I have to assume there's language to move the pick to a future draft in that case.

I have to agree with that. Strickland is worth the risk. Lowery has potential. I would see what he can do and maybe use our 2nd for a CB.

WHOA!.. way to only highlight like half of my post.. I said that I LOVE THIS.. and have been on board with getting Cro since the speculation started...

Im saying a second.. because its based on playing time and Jets performance.. which means if he starts every game (which he is).. and if we makes the playoffs (which we most likely are) .. its likely that, that will be enough to turn the 3rd into a 2nd..

I'm just wondering where all these Cro fans where like yesterday.. when they all were complaining he couldn't tackle and needed heart and that they would NEVER want to see him on the Jets..

and i was saying that the ppl on the board complaining about Cro are going to think that a 2nd is too high.. NOT ME.. next time read allllll of the post..

After seeing what tanny has been able to do i tend to not worry too much about our cap situations.

    Cromartie isn't a shutdown guy.

Tannenbaum is the Michael Jordan of GMs. I don't love always giving up picks, but in this case, it's an absolute steal.

Now let's do Rhodes for Bolden and draft Mays at 29 :).

I think Revis/Mangold/Brick/Harris get resigned.... and then the drafting needs to be near perfect. That, and more players from FA once a new CBA is in place and can allow playoffs teams to act normally instead of the fucking retarded Final 8 rules.

Dunta Robinson would be here by now if the gayness wasn't going on.

The only thing that bothers me is that 2011 is going to be a horrible offseason. We will be trying to resign Leon, Braylon, Mangold, Dbrick, Cro, Revis and Harris.

No, but he's a pretty good cover guy with great hands and speed that can turn INT's into TD's.
