I can actually picture Al Davis sitting behind his desk....decked out in a blue hair wig, painted white face and a big red clown nose.

So he dresses up in the Bills team colors? Perhaps in honor of Ralph loaning Al cash in the old AFL days.
He had multiple legal battles with the league. Davis had a long-running feud with Pete Rozelle. The biggest one came in the early 1980s when he filed an anti-trust lawsuit against the league. When a court ruled in his favor he moved the team to Los Angeles.
What a mess the raiders are... you know that every anaylst talking about the raiders wants to say "this team will not be successful until al davis dies!!!!" everyone of us knows it.
At least we know we won't be the worst team in the league. Someday I dream for the "Al Davis buys Patriots" announcement.
Also tried to sue on the grounds that Carolina stole his "silver" color and Tampa stole the skull/pirate theme.
It's crazy to think that they were actually in a Super Bowl, and under his ownership, within the last decade. That team is so far away from being competitive that they would need two solid draft classes and 5 good free agents to work their way up to pathetic.
oh it's enjoyable but you figure the league can't be happy one of it's teams has no shot at improving in the near future.
