He is quietly having him a good Playoffs.. I think Schotty finally realized that the TE is Sanchez's Best friend when we can't get vertical. I hope we see more plays called in his direction for the Indy Game..

Agreed. He's played well in the playoffs. Great couple of games for Keller.

Yeah those quick dump offs and redzone plays are effective. now keller is starting to get comfortable with running after the catch too

He's improved greatly, which could have to do with more of Sanchez playing better and the play calling being better, but hats off to him and that clutch catch, I love how no matter how hard a hit he takes, he immediately jumps up.

He has improved his blocking immensely since his rookie year, hopefully it keeps getting better.

This combo is just going to get better and better.

Sanchez said it himself in the post-game, on that TD, "that was just us being in sync."

Great stuff, my face hurts from smiling. You should see finheaven- lol

I always felt Sanchez did not go to Keller enough in the regular season. He is such a valuable weapon.

I'll be the first to admit that I never really thought much of Keller, but he really played great during the playoffs and was very dependable. If Sanchez and Keller stay synched then things will only get better.

I think that it was tough for the Jets to emphasize Keller early in the season because he's not a great blocker and he's not a particularly precise route runner. He is a great athlete, however, and once Sanchez got a little more comfortable rolling out of the pocket he naturally started to see Keller getting open.

Hopefully he and Sanchez can further develop their chemistry and Keller can become a bigger part of the offense, like has when #4 was under center.

Keller would have been much better this year with a veteran QB. As Sanchez began to feel comfortable (The Playoffs), Keller shined. He will be great in 2010. I bought a Keller jersey in September and was starting to get bummed with his lack of production, so this postseason was great to see out of him and Sanchez.

I am worried about Keller. His outstanding combine performance unfortunately does not even come close to translating on to the field.

40 Inch vertical and frame - When have you seen him out jump someone for a ball. Have they even attempted to run a play like this?

40 yard dash 4.53 - This clearly does not translate he does not look fast out there.

As far as the thing he was actually drafted for y'know catching the ball. We have seen his fair share of drops and shaky hands.

I don't want to say bust b/c he is a decent contributing player but he was drafted in the first round.

Holy shit. Stop trolling, Jeauxey. Now you're just trying to create problems. Every receiver/TE has drops. Keller is a huge mismatch for LBs which is why we picked him. Do you really expect him to be burning CBs? Of course you don't, you're just looking for a reason to cause shit on the board. Band name my ass...

For fucks sake these are legitimate questions going into the season. We didn't draft this guy for 45 receptions and 500 yards and 2 TDS A YEAR.

He had a rookie QB throwing to him in a run-heavy offense. The entire receiving corps had diminished numbers specifically because Ryan had Schottenheimer limit the number of throws he was making. Sanchez was 26th in passing attempts this season(364). Cotchery only had 821yds and 3TDs despite starting the first four games as the #1 WR. Should we be looking into drafting another WR high this season to replace him?

Either you are a troll or you have no idea what football is.

Excuses excuses that's all I hear. Rookie coach, rookie qb blah blah blah. I thought Sanchez was the savior now you are making excuses for him.

And I'm not even talking all about production with Keller. It's what I see on the field or rather what I have not seen which is: top flight speed, jumping ability, consistent catching.

Respond to the 2nd part and the main point I'm trying to make.
