This RB class wasn't supposed to be that good but it's actually shaping up quite well! God, I'm sooo pissed at the B. Edwards trade right now!!!

    Good call 624!!!

I really like Montario Hardesty, he could be an option for the Jets. The Jets would need to get back into Rd 3 if they want Hardesty. Hardesty could be an option in late Rd 2 come April with his terrific numbers today, right now it's still too early to consider him in Rd 2.

I wish the Jets had more picks!!!

Hardesty had some bad luck tearing his ACL and couldn't get his career on track until his Junior year.

Hardesty is very good receiver out of the backfield and could be a nice addition with Greene and Leon.

I'm not. Edwards is better than any of the receivers in this draft. We filled a major hole when the Jets traded for him. If he works on his concentration, he'll be a Pro Bowl caliber player in our offense.

There really isn't a ridiculously talented running back in this draft, but there's a lot of talent. Spiller, Mathews, and Gerhart are three guys that I can see contributing right away in a RBBC.

    I'm not pissed!!

I just want the Jets to trade back and get a couple of more selections...Round 3/4 area.

+1. I would rather not have a slot WR than not have a #1/#2 WR.

Stuckey (slot WR) + Trusnik (ST ACE, and I mean ACE) + Hardesty/Gerhart/Tate + Coleman's replacement... argh! Draft a #1 WR in rd 2 and that's one hell of an offense.

It also has to do with the fact I don't want to pay a WR 9 mill to stay on this team (the kind of money Edwards wants) because I think that's not our identity...

What I meant by RIGHT NOW is that this combine is showing that this draft is sooo deeep and I'm pissed we don't have the picks to take advantage of that.

Guys don't forget about James Starks Buffalo, ran well today. I mentioned Starks a few weeks ago, a player I really like.

Great receiver out of the backfield.

Was injuryed his entire Senior year.

Nice option in a later Rd.

I am not pissed at all about the Edwards trade, sure it'd be cool this time of year to have another 3rd and 5th, but Edwards was amazing most of this year and he didn't even play up to his potential.

Edwards is better then Bryant, who is probably a top 15 pick. Would you rather spend a top 15 pick on a WR this year or have that 3rd and 5th?

Toby Gerhart was arguably a second round talent before he ran an amazing 40. Montario Hardesty could move into the second after today as well. Ben Tate is really the only guy that may have been there with our late third rounder.

Honestly Mambo, if you're complaining about giving up a decent slot receiver, a special teamer, and an overpaid rotational defensive end for a potentially elite #1 receiver then I don't know what to tell you.

In this draft, you may not even find a #1 receiver in the first round. I don't get why you think there'd be one in the second.

I hate potential... I love actual production, and Edwards actual contribution is good but not elite.

That said what I meant was just that I'm pissed at not having mid round picks in this draft... I like how Edwards played this year and I'm happy we have him... but god it stings to know that on draft day some really good and useful player will drop to our pick in the 3rd an 5th round and we won't be able to get him.

I was shocked to see the times Golden Tate put up in the 40....

What was Gerhart's 40 time? Do you have a better tracker than the NFL.com "top performers" page? I'm assuming Gerhart broke 4.5?

Running back class is shaping up nicely. Spiller got a 4.3? Damn...

Electric- are you proud that your man crush broke a 4.4, or bummed because it all but eliminates him from Jets contention?

I believe Toby Gerhart ran an unofficial 4.54. I think officially it was in the 4.6s though, but someone fucked that up. Mayock was bitching about the official times being wrong. Basically, Gerhart ran faster than expected. The great white hype became the great white hope today.

CJ Spiller has amazing speed. I think he'll be a very dangerous player in the NFL, especially as a return man.

I'm very proud of Ryan Mathews. He was arguably the most well rounded prospect there today. He looked good catching the football as well. The only way I'll be bummed about Ryan Mathews is if he gets drafted by an AFC East opponent.

Bobby's World was the shit, the hell are you talking about Mr E?

As for Hardesty, I've been really high on him all along, glad to see his workouts did his game justice.

    Guys....

Don't miss the next 2 days of the Combine.

    Monday.......D-Line/ Linebackers

Don't expect big numbers from Brandon Graham...he' not the fastest 40 player. Graham's game translates to the football field...not the Combine.

    Tuesday...DBs.

We will probably be seeing the Jet's first rd draft pick at the Combine the next 2 days.

Brandon Graham is the guy that I want to see wearing green and white next year, you said it best that his game is on the field and not the combine. I think between Graham, Wilson, and Tate one of them is on the Jets.

I should've taken the day off today...to stay home and watch the combine.

Are there any decent live feeds on the web?
