Sam Bradford: 6-foot-4 1/4, 236 pounds, 34 3/8-inch arm length, 9 1/2-inch hand span Jimmy Clausen: 6-foot-2 5/8, 222 pounds, 30 3/4-inch arm length, 9-inch hand span Colt McCoy: 6-foot-1 1/8, 216 pounds, 31-inch arm length, 9 3/8-inch hand span Tim Tebow: 6-foot-2 3/4, 236 pounds, 31 3/4-inch arm length, 10 1/8-inch hand span Bradford has the ideal build for a QB. Wow, I had no idea Clausen had such small hands... That's going to hurt is evaluation IMO. McCoy is also pretty short for a QB... Tim Tebow big hands!
Anyone remember what Sanchez's hand span was? I'm 6'3 with 33 inch arms and a 9 inch hand span. Just throwing it out there...
arm span of 33 1/2 inches and a hand span of 10 1/2 inches I'd say to be an NFL QB you hands have to be AT LEAST 9 1/2 or you might have problems... it's not essential but i't helpful... 9 is borderline to being a problem (it also depends in what weather you play).
I forgot how big Sanchez's hands were.....that Jimmy C measurement can hurt him... Ben Wallace has 4 inch hands, it's true.
Wow, Bradford must have been putting in some work at the gym to get up to 236. Can't wait to see how he looks.
Yeah I noticed that too, I know he's the tallest ouf of all these guys, but I was shocked to see him weigh the same as Tebow. Bradford's measurements look real good, long arms too.
That sounds a bit gay GH I read on rotoworld that the scouts were surprised he put on that much muscles but that he looked good with it (meaning they seemed like "good" muscles and not those blown up muscles you get by working out too much). They also said he usually throws about 50 balls a day in the 20-40 yds range...
Already reports comming in that Bradford's size is the talk of the day. Given his ideal build and better attitude then Jimmy Clausen things could be shaking up at the top of the QB class.
Clausen on NFL Radio". I had a plate put in my big toe, the injury hurt my play. Really affected my accuracy because I couldn"t push off" Legit excuse.
