I've heard that if we draft a corner early to start across from Revis, the holy one would be asked to give his input on who Tanny should draft. So assuming we don't get Aso, who do you think Revis would want us to draft to eventually start across from him?

I guarantee he'll recommend McCourty or Wilson.

I was thinking the same thing about Wilson, maybe McCourty too.

I think Warren is a possibility, too.

Don Warren is similar to Darrelle Revis in the way that he plays, but he's not a consistent player. I don't know if Revis will have much respect for a player that doesn't dedicate himself to this game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I read that Warren has had three different defensive coordinators, I mean I dont know about his desire to play but changing coaches that much cant really do a ton to help his development

The front office gets input on the draft from current players? I find that a little difficult to believe. I mean I have nothing against that personally but shit the scouts might take offense to stuff like this..... I would think egos would get in the way.

Vontae Davis is a decent comparison. They both have the talent to start in the NFL...but only if everything clicks.

Davis looks like he's going to be a pretty good corner for the Fins.

dont you think that, since revis will have input on the pick, he would take an extra interest in making sure that pick pans out?

everyone says revis is one of the hardest working db's in the game, and i think he'd take that young cb under his wing and show him how to approach the game the right way

I think Revis would pick who he thinks the best player will be, not necessarily the safest (just a hunch).

Back in 2007 Jets' scouts were able to identify the best CB in a strong CB class and they did also identify the need to trade up to get him. That's scouting at its best and I trust our scouts to do a good job again with or without help from Revis.

Where did you hear this? I highly doubt Revis watches game film of college CBs, how much could he possibly know about these guys? If this is true (and I'm pretty sure it's not) something is wrong with out FO
