Only those who weren't Sanchez fans or uninformed.

I remember screaming at my TV "THAT'S NOTHING!!!"

and then I called my friend and I screamed at him "WE GOT HIM FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

what a fun day. Sadly, I haven't found my one player that will make me jump so high that i hit the low ceiling in my basement like last year.

I was thinking along the same lines. A WR in the first with this year the focus on the QB, I thought they were finally going to see if Clemens was a bust or not.

Sanchez has all the extra things that it takes to be a successful qb in NY. He handles the media extremely well which is probably because he comes from USC. I used to want Bradford but Im glad we picked up Sanchez.

I'm just glad that we don't have Stafford. The Jets don't need any UGA fans.

Hehe, are you talking about this stupid thread?

    http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=44695

I think the best part about it is how Mambo is telling you now how little we have up, but he's the first one to post in that thread with something like 'fuckfuckfuckfucketc'. Just another classic firemanedjr thread. I don't know why anyone gives that kid a hard time.

i agree completely. i really like clausen coming in and think he will be very successful. i would trade him for sancheese in a heartbeat.

i dont mind being wrong, if clausen sucks in 3 years i will be ready and willing to admit it. :)

Sanchez for Clausen really? urgh ugly

The leadership qualities that Sanchez possess, would alone make Sanchez a better QB for this team then Clausen

So you want to trade the kid who had only 16 college starts under his belt, came into the NFL and started immediately, then went on and had the best rookie QB playoff performance in the history of the NFL prior to his 2nd season?

That's not a surprise, since you have bashed the Sanchez pick since the day it was made.

I hope we get another player like Shonn Greene, where everyone will be saying "he should have gone much higher than that ...."

yes i am serious. yes i didnt like the pick. yes i still dont think he is nearly as good as you guys make him out to be. he had a 63 qb rating, 12 tds, 20 ints and who knows how many fumbles during the season.

i do not think he sucks, yet i cannot sit here and listen to you jockriders tell me how GREAT he is. or how great he MAY be in the future. bottom line is that i dont care for him as a qb but still rooted for him, you guys have fallen so far over yourselves that you cant even see the guy for what he is.

dont give me some shit about 3 games in which he still threw 2 ints and lost one of them as proof that he is a great qb. he is serviceable at this point, i THINK jimmy clausen could end up being a better qb. that doesnt mean i hate him it means clausen would be a guy i would want on the jets. because i THINK he will be a better qb over the long haul.

and being wrong about it is something that may happen, but i really dont give a shit if i am wrong. it doesnt bother me.

badger would you like me to put up the 20 or 30 trade up picks that havent worked or the franchises that have been built from trading down and acquiring more picks?

i will add that sanchez played much better at the end of the year and i HOPE he continues to progress. i will admit he did show some things last year that i didnt think he had, and i was pleasantly surprised at times.

see i can say positive things about sanchez! :)

with the depth in this draft, finding a player who likes to play physical won't be tough to do.
