I'm sure he'd be an improvement over Sheppard, especially with a decent pass rush, but I've heard enough bad things from Chargers fans to have some doubts. It's not just that one play.. he's lazy and soft. So yeah, he isn't a player I'm fervent of them pursuing, but there's definitely a lot of potential, so it all depends on the price.

I love watching the Jets o-line completely dominate on that play. They didn't just win the battle at the line of scrimmage, they fucking dominated it.

Can Leon even be traded at all (to any team) right now? How would he pass the physical?

    Think about it this way:

Cromartie absolutely brings a lot of positives to the table. He's a superb athlete, he's got great ball skills, he's very solid in coverage, and he's entering the prime of his career.

It should concern you greatly that the Chargers are so eager to get rid of a guy with all those positives. There have been longstanding rumors that his teammates don't like him, it's been well established that he doesn't like to get his hands dirty (the Shonn Greene touchdown is just one of many examples)...I say pass on a guy whose own team, the people who know him best, think he's overrated.

If you're bitch enough to pull that in the playoffs when your season's on the line...YES, you probably did do it all season.

We already have a puss in the secondary that avoids contact like the ebola virus...so I would not want this guy.

Plus, I was pleasantly surprised that I could vote for BOTH No, I don't want him AND FU WSW

i have seen him play a decent amount with the chargers being on nationally a good amount the last few years. i have seen him look like a great cover corner and i have seen him get burned all day long. you may be right about the pass rush WSW, but if he isn't gonna tackle and his coverage is inconsistent i just don't see him being worth a trade. but if rex thinks his skill set would be good for the team i will change my tune a bit.

The guy is 25 and has 6 kids around the US with different women... that to me is the greatest sign of being a gigantic asshole who only cares about himself.

No way I'll ever root for Cromartie...

I don't think Rex would go for a CB who isn't willing to play physical. But, another aspect, what if we had to face him...

I think him ending up on the Bills is most likely.

I dont see the Jets giving up Leon for him (and lets be honest hes the only HB we could give up)

And one of the coaches on the Bills was big on Cromartie when he was on the Chargers staff. Plus the Bills have the 2 HBs problem, thats the most likely fit imo
