my mock draft 2-18-2010 Round 1: Kyle Wilson, CB Boise State http://www3.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Tostitos+Fiesta+Bowl+TCU+v+Boise+State+gOm0hu8ZtlGl.jpg Round 2: Golden Tate, WR Notre Dame http://static.blogcritics.org/09/09/19/114009/golden-tate.jpg Round 5: Mike Johnson, OG Alabama http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/images/09/11/mike-johnson-p1.jpg Round 6: Rahim Alem, DE LSU http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv41/LilUno411/RahimAlem.png Round 7: Kendrick Lewis, S Ole Miss http://www.nationalchamps.net/2009/sub/pics/small/mississippi_kendrick_lewis.jpg
No way Tate is around with our 2nd round pick and I'd also be very surprised to see Johnson around with our 5th.
Kyle Wilson: He will come in a replace Lito. Will be starting from day 1 and will be a great number 2 corner for years to come. Golden Tate: Amazingly, he will fall right into our arms in the second round and will help balance out our offensive attack. Mike Johnson: A great offensive linemen who will fill in for faneca when he retires. Will learn alot next year from Faneca and should be ready to start in 2011 Rahim Allen: Rex will turn him into a beast and he can get pressure on opposing quarterbacks Kendrick Lewis: good size and a ball hawk, plays the run very well
i think it would pretty crazy for a guy projected to go in the late first to go in the late second. the fact that he is a big name makes this even less likely.
I wouldn't mind that draft at all. But from what I have read in numerous places, I'd be very surprised if Kyle Wilson fell that far. Same with Golden Tate. Maybe they'll lose stock at the combine.
usually CB don't start to fly off the board till the second round. And with such depth at the position this year, teams wont be rushing to take a CB
Well, the NFL is a copycat league - and Revis is going to make a lot of teams try to find the next Revis. The Jets' defense was so good in large part because most teams they played lost their #1 receiver. I remember when Randy Moss hit the scene. Every team was trying to find the next Randy Moss in the first round. Instead, they reached for tall, skinny, overrated wideouts.
Those pick would be value but I don't think Tate is there at 2 now Johnson at 5. Tate and "the kid from GT Thomas" are very different players... I know it's meant to be fun but isn't the title "this is exactly how the Jets will draft" a bit uncalled for?
I believe that this is exactly how they will draft position wise, not sure if the exact players will be their though
you sounded pretty convincing with that thread title. it's a good thing i didn't ask you for winning lottery numbers.
I think it's pretty clear that I cannot tell the future, its just a name that will get lots of people intrigued in the thread
his list definitely address the positions of need regarding the Jets.....i don't think Tate is there in the late 2nd....K.Wilson is certainly a possibility in the first round...as for the latter rounds....it's all a crapshoot. the OP obvious used a poor choice of words.....
His thread failed when: 1. Golden Tate won't be there at the back of the second. 2. Mike Johnson is the second rated guard behind Mike Iupati - he shouldn't last that long. 3. Rahim Allen isn't a real person. What's sad is, he's talking about Rahim Alem...who's name is spelled correctly in the picture link that he provided.
