Unbelievable - it's the offseason in Baltimore, too.

I had to post this... a Ravens fan complaining about the number of home run misses of Ozzie Newsome.

Only thee picks over the last 15 years can even be questioned even after the fact! Mark Clayton and Travis taylor.

You could also question Boller, because he turned out to suck, but they needed a QB very very badly that year.

The funny thing is that Ozzie apparently is going to be moved out of the GM position at some point soon. The Ravens want to establish organizational continuity so they are going to move Ozzie to a senior emeritus advisory type position sometime in the next couple of seasons.

The crazy thing about this is that he's only 54 years old. It's not like he's Red Auerbach at 73 and they have a problem developing right down the road.

Yeah, that would be amazing. However I'm guessing the Ravens offer him enough money to just take his new office and shoot the breeze with the new GM and player personnel guys. Then if they have a talent crisis a couple of years down the road they bring back Ozzie, and voila - organizational continuity.

Wow imagine if the Ravens took Aso instead of Boller and Rodgers instead of Clayton??

Not criticizing Newsome, just saying that would have been ridiculous

you mean Newsome didn't get EVERY steal in EVERY draft and sometimes, a better player was taken later......

another part I find really funny is that some of his "notable passed overs" aren't as good as the pick he's complaining about

    a main example being

    Ed Reed >>>>> Clinton Portis

all in all the Ravens are fucking crazy in the draft!, we should show that clown the browns, lions, or well most other teams "notable passed overs"

There is a belief that Ozzie wants to retire soon. If that is indeed the case then having a backup plan put in place is a good idea.

I love the notables passed over when Ozzie picked Ed Fucking Reed. I was looking for Lawrence Taylor, Jerry Rice, Anthony Munoz, Dick Butkis and/or Walter Payton but Clinton Portis lllllllllllooooooooooooolllllllllzzzzzzzz what a fucking jackass.

Thank god that idiot isnt a Jets fan. Those are some killer first round picks.
