Cornerback out of IUP. I don't really have a lot to say about this guy other then his name is ridiculous. His first name translates to "Born on Sunday". How awesome is that? And he's a stud kick returner. I've seen him projected all over the board, but my main point is, how awesome is that name?
I added AOA to my prospect spotlight thread last week. The kid's a really intriguing small school prospect.
I just haven't seen this kid play...so I can't comment. I read he had a bad shoulder injury and is an excellent KR/PR. I don't know f he will be able to cover NFL WRs. Take with a grain of salt...the competition at that level (Div 2) is Night and Day from Div 1.
I hate that after reading your quote of your last thread I realized I've read about him before. But the fact that his awesome name (and I like the message board abbreviation AOA too) isn't one of your positives makes me feel OK about starting a separate thread on him.
I have no problem with other posters starting separate threads for the guys in the spotlight thread. I'm just trying to get lesser-knowns looked at, because some of these guys deserve it. AOA was surprisingly invited to the combine, so he'll get to show what he can do against the big school prospects.
I usually care the least when threads are duplicated by others, but some stuff on the draft board is about credit and credibility and "uncovering" prospects so to speak. And with that, I'm going to start a thread about how I'm the first to think that Kyle Wilson would be a good pick for the Jets...
Anyway, in terms of being an actual prospect, I like AOA a lot for the Jets, however I think they'll go CB with one of their first 2 picks, and his combine numbers will probably warrant going in the 3-5th rounds so I think it's unlikely he'll be around when the Jets are on the board.
AOA could have a Lardarius Webb type combine, and move ahead of a lot of bigger school defensive backs. I think he'll go in between the 3rd or 5th as well, but it all depends on his combine.
