The LOD, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, Rock&Roll Express, Midnight Express, the Steiner Brothers, Jack and Jay Youngblood, Freebirds, the Masked Assassins, Ivan and Nikita Koloff. I grew up around Charlotte, so I was raised on the NWA and Crockett promotions. Until the RAW attitude era, nobody here hardly even noticed there was a WWF.

Yep. Pretty common Road to Wrestlemania opening RAW. Establish all the story lines and match ups. Jericho is going to take Takers title at Hell in the Cell, lining up Taker vs HBK and Jericho vs Edge. MVP vs Miz and DiBiase vs Orton, Cody Rhodes has to fit in there somehow...ref or bystandard or something. Hart vs McMahon in street fight. All in all a pretty nice card thus far.

    ***Edit***
Thank god Bret Hart watched video from his last appearance. He dyed his hair and wore pants....he must have realized, like everybody else, that he looked 60.

i actually got to thinking about the best era for tag team wrestling in the business. While the mid to late 80's unquestionably had the greatest depth that tag team wrestling ever saw, I didn't realize how many sick tag teams were around in the attitude era. Forget the WWE big three of E&C, Dudleys and Hardys, WCW could throw out Harlem Heat (one of the most underrated tag teams in history), Outsiders, Steiners, Public Enemy and the Amazing French Canadians (former WWE tag champs the Quebecers.)

Sucks that tag team wrestling seems to be kinda dead. Now it's just lets match up two big named wrestlers. At least with Jerishow they had a name and matching theme.

I like a lot of the Attitude Era tag teams, but I wouldn't call any of them great tag teams. The Hardy's and Dudley's were extreme. While entertaining, it's not good "work". The Dudley's are by far the most overrated Tag Team ever. They were trademarks in ECW for obvious reasons and only sustained in WWE and TNA due to lack of options. They were the only true tag team, meaning, not two stars thrown together for the sake of making a tag team. ANY era is better then now when it comes to tag teams. I'd give anything to have the Attitude era teams now....but I'd still rather have the 80's over them.

Edge and Christian. Starting out, neither was given the kind of push you see today. But that first TLC match, with the Dudley Boyz, E+C, and the Hardys, come on, man, it doesn't get any better than that.

Edge leaves A LOT to be desired as far as in ring work goes. I've always liked Christian. Those old hardcore or "car crash" matches were entertaining as fuck, but you can only do it so many time before it becomes the same shit on a different day. And I'll dispute your no push claim. In a time when getting a push was at a premium, the Monday Night Wars, Edge, at the request of Bret Hart, was signed and thrown into a stable story line with the Brood. He was with the company for less then a year and got that. They were pushed for 4 years and captured 7 Tag Title reigns. Unfortunetly, aside from the previously mentioned car crash matches, they were stale. I don't hate them, I actually kind of enjoyed them, but if we're discussing "Great Tag Teams", they're not on the list.

Can't tell Bischoff is running things can you? From the Monday scheduling to the raised ramp leading to the ring.....they should just call Vince and get permission to change TNA's name to WCW.

He's been my favorite for the last few years. He's so badass at this point that people are cheering even though he's a heel. I'm assuming you were just watching Raw right? haha

I can't really agree with that. They've made him look incredibly weak in his past few fueds with John Cena and Triple H. Also, hes really boring on the mic and puts on boring matches.

Not to mention he got owned by Kofi Kingston in the feud they had in the beginning..luckily Orton got the best of Kofi in the end.

Seems like the WWE pulled the plug on Kofi's push thank god..he isn't a main eventer.

Any predictions for Money in the Bank..I hope Christian would win it and finally win a championship but in all likelihood Drew McIntyre is the favorite to win it.
