I wonder where Jets winning the Super Bowl will rank after next season.

I was fine until I read the story and saw that Favre's season with the Vikings was #4. Then I threw up in my mouth. I can't stand that selfish prima donna drama queen. I think the better story was how for the third year in a row he finished his team's season with a turnover fest.

Brett Favre is Roger Clemens all over again. If you liked Clemens the odds are good you like Favre and if you hated Clemens then you hate Favre.

Ryan should have been story #1 in my opinion. It's hard top come in and take a middel ranked defense and make them #1. I'm not sure who the last head coach to do something like that was but Bill Belichik didn't even come close.

I dont think Ryan being #1 is realistic.

The Saints story really deserves to be #1 with the whole rebuilding after Katrina, and a team finally making/winning its first superbowl in franchise history.

That said I DEFINITELY think Big Rex should of been #2. The guy turned a team into the best rushing/defense machine in the NFL and brought a team everyone thought was garbage 30 minutes from the superbowl, and is helping to bring back old school football.

Not to mention he has completely redefined the culture of a team and people were excited as hell over him.

You are right. I despise them both. It just amazes me how the media is enamored with Favre and BS act year after year. He is the most selfish athlete I know in a sport that demands teamwork and sacrifice. That is why he has not won a championship in over a decade and is about to screw his third franchise in three years all for personal gain.

It always used to be that the Jets would have a great season, a playoff year, then lose 10 games the next year. Now, I'm all sorts of confident that we can be the new Patriots or Colts and compete for a playoff spot every year for a decade. We are the franchise that's been making the most positive steps in the right direction, that has the best young core in football. Tell me, is there a team with a better young, say, 6-player group than Sanchez, Greene, Brick, Mangold, Harris, and Revis?

I dont think the Saints should be number 1 because of Katrina. If it was the year after or even 2 then yea but its been long enough. Still a great story though.

I just hope that going into next season, NO ONE (players & CS) are looking back at last season and thinking we did great and gloating over it.
Last season was last season.....time to move on and do ALOT better.
Ryan has to dispel any complacency early on.
