Mays has become so overrated that at this point, he's underrated. 70% of the people who trash him have probably never even seen the guy play.

He's a great pick outside the Top-20 and if Kerry is moved, I'd be shocked if we didn't get Mays.

No no no. With a draft so deep at cb(our #1 need). The only trades we can make are down.

Taylor mays will be drafted in round 2 please write it down, great physical speciemn but never goes for the ball always the player, he should play lb in the nfl that would ultimately be a better position

Write what down? Everything in your post has been said countless times on this forum and elsewhere.

I don't know if he's overrated or underrated, but I know that I can't stomach the idea of trading up for any player after the past 4 years.

For once I want to stockpile picks. No more trading up.

Right. So much to read in the offseason. I'm sorry if you read at 1 WPM. There's 27 minutes of your life gone just reading this post.

EDIT: Apparently you didn't even read this thread. I can't imagine how many hours that would have cost you:

I do before I write things like "write it down", as though I'm the first to come up with such a bold proclamation.

    What just happened?

...just to stay on topic: Taylor Mays could very well be the next Thomas Davis.

Really? Have you seen the names in this draft? Have you seen Mays cover a pass?

I would only like to get MAys if we turn him into a LB but that's risky and I don't want LBs in the first 2 rounds.

From the videos I've seen of him, he doesn't wrap on his tackles unless he is chasing someone. He scares me because he looks like he will hurt his own players. Can't be careless in the NFL as he was in college.

He could just as easily be the next Darnell Bing.

    Yes, and yes.

Mays is a project, but at the very worst he'll be a good deep zone safety in the NFL. He might have the highest upside of anyone in this draft.

I wouldn't go that far - Mays is a lot more talented than Bing...
