No big intro, this took me a good portion of today to get done. Let me know what you think, and I'll try my best to defend it. A lot of strange goings-on when you do it pick by pick like this, some guys falling and you can't seem to fit them in, other guys going before they need to go. A lot of mini-runs on positions too. BTW, this thing is 7 pages in Word... damn... I waste a lot of time.

    First round

    1. St. Louis – DT Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska
    - A great player, needs to be the #1 pick. A cornerstone type player.

    2. Detroit – DT Gerald McCoy, Oklahoma
    - Almost as good at Suh, just a different kind of dominance.

    3. Tampa Bay – S Eric Berry, Tennessee
    - A playmaker in the secondary, and a leader for the young defense.

    4. Washington – QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma
    - I buy the talk that Shanahan loves him, seems like a really smart QB.

    5. Kansas City – LB Rolando McClain, Alabama
    - A monster to build a 34 defense around. Better than Jerod Mayo was.

    6. Seattle – QB Jimmy Clausen, Notre Dame
    - Carroll saw him first hand many times, and he gets to beat Charlie with his own guy.

    7. Cleveland – CB Joe Haden, Florida
    - A perfect fit, Haden is a franchise corner.

    8. Oakland – OT Bruce Campbell, Maryland
    - Athletic marvel for those who marvel at athleticism.

    9. Buffalo – OT Russ Okung, OK State
    - I don’t love Okung, but it’s the Bills, so who knows. They do need a tackle badly.

    10. Jacksonville – WR Dez Bryant, OK State
    - Their first rounders always seem to bust, so why not take a risk go for a potential stud.

    11. Denver (from Chicago) – DT Dan Williams, Tennessee
    - They need to add 34 talent, and he can develop into a top tier nose tackle.

    12. Miami – LB Brandon Graham, Michigan
    - A stud at the Senior Bowl, and Bill Parcells needs a passrusher.

    13. San Francisco 49ers – S Earl Thomas, Texas
    - Lot of debate over the Niners, but no one’s questioning the need in the secondary.

    14. Seattle (from Denver) – OT Brian Bulaga, Iowa
    - They got their quarterback of the future, now they get someone to protect him.

    15. NY Giants – OT Anthony Davis, Rutgers
    - Jerry Reese hates prototype Left Tackles, so they get the versatile Davis.

    16. San Francisco (from Carolina) – OG Mike Iupati, Idaho
    - Aaand there’s the other big need. Iupati can play guard or Right Tackle.

    17. Tennessee – DE Everson Griffin, USC
    - The Titans have to replace their aging DEs soon, and Griff has top 5 ability.

    18. Pittsburgh – S Taylor Mays, USC
    - They need a safety with Clark being mediocre and a FA, can learn from Polamalu.

    19. Atlanta – DE Derrick Morgan, Georgia Tech
    - I don’t like him as much as others, but they’ll keep the kid home.

    20. Houston – WR Damian Williams, USC
    - Adding to the pool for Matt Schaub, the Texans get their own Reggie Wayne.

    21. Cincinnati – DT Brian Price, UCLA
    - Adding Price and getting Odom back healthy will greatly improve that DLine.

    22. New England – LB Sergio Kindle, Texas
    - For some reason doesn’t feel like a Patriot player, but could be great.

    23. Green Bay – RB CJ Spiller, Clemson
    - Not the biggest need, but he’s the player that would make that offense elite.

    24. Philadelphia – DE Carlos Dunlap, Florida
    - Top notch value, and the Eagles never seem to have huge “needs”.

    25. Baltimore – TE Jermaine Gresham, Oklahoma
    - A top TE prospect to replace the TE that’s carried the offense for years.

    26. Arizona – DT Terrence Cody, Alabama
    - Fits the Cards draft philosophy of big names from big schools and he’s a big, fat need.

    27. Dallas – WR Golden Tate, Notre Dame
    - Kind of a weird pick here, but I just like the thought of Tate in that offense.

    28. San Diego – RB Ryan Mathews, Fresno State
    - The best pure RB in the class, would be a nice replacement for LDT.

    29. NY Jets – CB Perrish Cox, OK State
    - The 2nd best corner in the class, Jets benefit from having such a deep 2nd tier of CBs.

    30. Minnesota – CB Kyle Wilson, Boise State
    - Wilson could fill-in for Griffin short term, and replace Winfield in time.

    31. Indianapolis – DT Lamarr Houston, Texas
    - A quick penetrating DT that could give the Colts pass rush another dimension.

    32. New Orleans – LB Sean Weatherspoon, Missouri
    - No way he ends up this low, but as of February 10th it’s fair.

    Second round

    33. St. Louis – CB Donovan Warren, Michigan
    - Warren can turn into a great CB, and could go much higher depending on his 40.

    34. Detroit – OT Jason Fox, Miami
    - They have to start building a line to protect Matt Stafford, and Jeff Backus is about done.

    35. Tampa Bay – WR Arrelious Benn, Illinois
    - Bucs luck out there hasn’t been a run on wideouts, Benn has #1 potential.

    36. Kansas City - OT Charles Brown, USC
    - Chiefs add a prototype Left Tackle to move Brandon Albert back inside.

    37. Washington – OG Vladimir Ducasse, UMass
    - Not a tackle like many hoped, but could be a dominant guard.

    38. Cleveland – LB Brandon Spikes, Florida
    - Browns continue their defensive overhaul, Spikes is an ILB with a mean streak.

    39. Oakland – DE Jason Pierre-Paul, USF
    - Oh, sweet measurables. Campbell and he actually wouldn’t be too bad of a draft.

    40. Seattle – RB Jonathan Dwyer, Georgia Tech
    - Carroll keeps adding offensive talent, he’d compliment Justin Forsett well.

    41. Buffalo – DT Jared Odrick, Penn State
    - Last year’s Penn State DLineman is a bust, so why not try it again?

    42. Tampa Bay (from Chicago) – DE Jerry Hughes, TCU
    - Hughes should probably go a bit higher, but he may be too one dimensional for Rd 1.

    43. Miami – S Chad Jones, LSU
    - Jones could easily see his stock rise with his massive potential, but still a bit raw.

    44. New England (from Jacksonville) – OG Mike Johnson, Alabama
    - Pats would like Johnson’s versatility, so they reach down a bit for him.

    45. Denver – WR Demaryius Thomas, Georgia Tech
    - Big strong wide receiver that is in the Brandon Marshall mold.

    46. NY Giants – LB Daryl Washington, TCU
    - Love the idea of this pick, would be a perfect fit for both sides. Could start right away.

    47. Carolina – LB Novorro Bowman, Penn State
    - The Panthers need to make up for not having a first, get a high potential player.

    48. New England (from Tennessee) – RB Jahvid Best, California
    - Kevin Faulk is a FA and aging, they need to get some explosion back in their offense.

    49. San Francisco – CB Devin McCourty, Rutgers
    - McCourty loves to hit and play special teams, traits that coach Singletary will love.

    50. Kansas City (from Atlanta) – LB Ricky Sapp, Clemson
    - Other players are rated higher, but Sapp really is that prototype 34 OLB.

    51. Houston – OC Maurkice Pouncey, Florida
    - They’ve finally developed an OLine in Houston, Pouncey could be the final piece.

    52. Pittsburgh – OT Trent Williams, Oklahoma
    - Pitt needs a tackle something terrible, could move Colon inside from RT.

    53. New England – RB Toby Gerhart, Stanford
    - Another RB for the Pats?? Yessir, they get themselves a committee in one draft.

    54. Cincinnati – WR Mardy Gilyard, Cincinnati
    - Bengals keep this converted Florida kid in the ‘Natti, Ocho isn’t getting younger.

    55. Philadelphia – CB Kareem Jackson, Alabama
    - Brown and Samuel are near 30, and Jackson is experienced and great value at this point.

    56. Green Bay – OT Selvish Capers, West Virginia
    - Capers might take some time to develop, but has top notch athleticism for an OT.

    57. Baltimore – WR Brandon LaFell, LSU
    - Gresham and LaFell give the Ravens some legitimate threats on the outside.

    58. Arizona – TE Rob Gronkowski, Arizona
    - Gronk is well rounded, and would be a great safety valve for Matt Leinart.

    59. Dallas – S Nate Allen, USF
    - The Cowboys have needed a safety for some time, Allen is a physical playmaker.

    60. San Diego – DE Tyson Alualu, California
    - A riser, Alualu could be a nice fit on that defensive line in San Diego.

    61. NY Jets – LB Eric Norwood, South Carolina
    - The Jets need a passrusher bad, and Norwood’s versatility is unmatched.

    62. Minnesota – QB Colt McCoy, Texas
    - The Vikes get a smart QB to develop that can run an offense.

    63. Indianapolis – DE Brandon Lang, Troy
    - Comes from a system known for producing pass rushers.

    64. New Orleans – S Morgan Burnett, Georgia Tech
    - Darren Sharper is getting older, they should grab a young ballhawk like Burnett.

    Third round

    65. St. Louis – QB Dan LeFevour, Central Michigan
    - Not quite McCoy, but a fighter for a QB. Athletic and big, could be a real steal.

    66. Detroit – OG Jon Asamoah, Illinois
    - The building of the wall around Stafford continues.

    67. Tampa Bay – CB Brandon Ghee, Wake Forest
    - Talib is a stud, but Ronde Barber should probably retire.

    68. Kansas City – TE Aaron Hernandez, Florida
    - Get a steal with Hernandez falling this far down the board.

    69. Oakland – LB Rod Muckelroy, Texas
    - Most of their LBs are free agents, and Muckelroy could actually be a leader for that D.

    70. Philadelphia (from Seattle) – LB Donald Butler, Washington
    - Bigger, stronger linebacker with pretty good coverage skills.

    71. Cleveland Browns – OT Kyle Calloway, Iowa
    - The Browns look to the offensive side for a pick and sure up the right side.

    72. Buffalo Bills – QB Tim Tebow, Florida
    - Uh, the Bills, who knows, yet again. He’d be a hit in Canada.

    73. Miami Dolphins – WR Carlton Mitchell, USF
    - Keep a local guy in state, Mitchell is big and fast, big sleeper potential.

    74. Jacksonville – DE Greg Hardy, Ole Miss
    - Had a lot of strange problems at Ole Miss, but massive talent.

    75. Chicago – WR Dezmon Briscoe, Kansas
    - Bears need a big wideout, and Briscoe knows how to catch touchdowns.

    76. NY Giants – S Larry Asante, Nebraska
    - Immediate upgrade at safety, would be a great compliment with a healthy Kenny Phillips.

    77. Carolina – QB Zac Robinson, OK State
    - Could see Robinson rise back up the boards this offseason after a strong Senior Bowl.

    78. Tennessee – CB Patrick Robinson, Florida State
    - Could use an infusion of talent, even with the young players that have there.

    79. San Francisco – WR Jordan Shipley, Texas
    - Would be a great fit in the offense, matching with the playmakers Davis and Crabtree.

    80. Denver – S Reshad Jones, Georgia
    - Strong in the box safety to step in when Dawkins hangs ‘em up.

    81. Houston – RB Anthony Dixon, Mississippi State
    - Big, angry runner to pair with either Slaton or Arian Foster, whoever the staff likes more.

    82. Pittsburgh – CB Amari Spievey, Iowa
    - The Steelers could use about fifteen young DBs, but they’ll settle for he and Mays.

    83. Atlanta – LB Koa Misi, Utah
    - Misi can play a little linebacker, a little end, whatever’s needed of him.

    84. Cincinnati – S Darrell Stuckey, Kansas
    - The corners are outstanding, the safeties are…. not as good…

    85. Oakland (from New England) – QB Levi Brown, Troy
    - Big, strong armed QB for the Raiders to, uh, develop.

    86. Green Bay – CB Domonique Franks, Oklahoma
    - Youngster with a lot of potential to bring along behind Woodson and Harris.

    87. Philadelphia – RB Ben Tate, Auburn
    - McCoy is the go-to back now, but couldn’t hurt to add a bruiser like Tate.

    88. Baltimore – DE Vince Oghobaase, Duke
    - Dwan Edwards is a free agent and Trevor Pryce is already past his prime.

    89. Arizona – LB George Selvie, USF
    - Another big name guy for the Cards, could be a terrific 34 OLB in time.

    90. Dallas – OT Jared Veldheer, Hillsdale
    - The Cowboys need a tackle to bring along, and everyone seems to like this kid.

    91. San Diego – DT Boo Robinson, Wake Forest
    - Jamal Williams is old and missed almost the entire year.

    92. Cleveland (from New York Jets) – DE Arthur Jones, Syracuse
    - Probably would have been the Jets pick in this spot, too.

    93. Minnesota – RB Montario Hardesty, Tennessee
    - A second back to pair with AD, as Chester Taylor is probably moving on.

    94. Indianapolis – LB Rennie Curran, Georgia
    - For as long as the Colts are using the Tampa 2, they’ll need guys like Curran.

    95. New Orleans – OT Ciron Black, LSU
    - The Saints seem to really like keeping the local kids in, could play guard or right tackle.

    25 Best Players Remaining:
    QB Tony Pike, Cincinnati
    RB Charles Scott, LSU
    RB Joe McKnight, USC
    WR Freddie Barnes, Bowling Green
    WR Riley Cooper, Florida
    WR Danario Alexander, Missouri
    TE Ed Dickson, Oregon
    TE Anthony McCoy, USC
    OT Chris Scott, Tennessee

Jeez, that must have taken you forever. I'm just beginning to digest it, but I like what you did with the Jets picks. Love the relegation of Tebow to the third, but I bet somebody (cough, cough, Jacksonville) picks him entirely too early. Is JPP going to fall to the second round, after I've seen him in the first half of a bunch of mocks lately? Just looking by team, I love Arizona's and Miami's draft. Patriots? I can live with that.

I would take Wilson over Cox, but I wouldn't mind too much. Nice mock. =)

I like it, but I'm a Wilson fan.

I think he has more of an 'it' factor than Cox.

I would be thrilled with this draft. Cox and Norwood would be an awesome haul.

Damn, I wish we had a 3rd rounder. It would be the perfect spot for a DE or slot receiver.

Love the Cox pick...#2 corner in this class fo...sho.

I still think that OLB is far more of a fan want than a team need.

If Jason Pierre-Paul is available, he's gotta be the pick. I don't think he will be though.

A workout warrior/late riser/raw player? If he doesn't produce as a rookie, which is very, very likely...would he be a beast?

JPP is one of the rawest players in this draft that could/should go high...

Good stuff GH, this must have taken along time. I can't really strongly disagree with anything you have, players fall and rise on draft day and this looks like a very realistic, possible draft.

I love getting Cox and Norwood as well, our defense would be sick.

Cox is the 2nd best corner? Meh.... the CB competition is really open right now. Nice work though

Good job GH..... alot of effort and time.

I hope Brandon Graham doesn't go to anyone (Miami & NE) in our division.

Cox and Wilson are about even in my projections. I prefer Wilson a little more for the Jet's defense....but it's splitting hairs.

Norwood at the end of Rd 2 would be ideal....but wishful thinking.

If one didn't know any better, one would think Hurricane was a Patriots fan.

    Sergio Kindle
    Mike Johnson
    Jahvid Best
    Toby Gerhart

    WOW!!!

Okung, Odrick and Tebow to the Bills?

Actually, I'd enjoy the Jets taking on Tim Tebow twice a year, now that I think about it.

Good players, but using two 2nd rounders on Rbs would be really really stupid for them, they have other weaknesses, it would make more sense for them to take one of those two then use the other pick on a position of greater need D front 7 help, maybe a CB or even an O-lineman.
