No Brandon Ghee or Donovan Warren!? Wow!

Anyways yeah I love this year's CB class... Either at #29 or trading a few spots down we should be able to bring home a pretty good CB.

I'm glad to see Kareem Jackson getting some love, he's been a forgotten man in that muddled mass of humanity behind Joe Haden. He's a guy that people will start to talk about after the combine, might not blow away with the 40 but I think everything else will be near the top.

This is a very good draft for a team that needs help in the secondary. The safety class is incredibly deep, and there will be a lot of talent outside of the first if Ryan wants to find a solid nickel or dime corner.

I think we'll see guys like Ghee and Warren move ahead of Patrick Robinson, Devin McCourty, and Chris Cook.

When it's all said done will easily be in a position to grab a high end cornerback..this class looks deeper then the 07 CB class was (Revis, Hall, Ross, Mccauley, etc.)

If we cannot get K-Dub in the first, who is around in the second?

Wilson might be around in the 2nd. Too many guys being handed out first round grades lately...

The first round CBs...IMHO...as of 2/8:

    Haden
    Robinson
    Cox

After that, it's a bunch of guys who might but probably won't. This is a very deep draft.

Note: I might be be wrong just because I'm underrating just how big a need DBs might be league-wide. Alot of D's fall apart because of how weak their secondary is (Texans, Steelers, Ravens at times)...

I go to Florida State so I've seen Patrick Robinson play alot and boy is he so damn inconsistent. He has all the tools but I've continually seen him gettin beat by the big play.

We'll all know a lot more after the combine. As of right now, CBs like Brandon Ghee, Kareem Jackson, Devin McCourty, Dominique Franks, Javier Arenas, and Amari Spievey could be there.

Watch out for this kid at the combine: Akwasi Owusu-Ansah out of Indiana University Pennsylvania. He's got some serious wheels, and could fly up boards if he runs well.

You really think Patrick Robinson deserves to go in the first round?

People said the same thing about Vontae Davis last year from Illinois...he went on to have a solid season.

Most CBs come into the league a little eh...most college teams are mediocre passing the ball and many get away with poor technique...if Robinson is deemed coachable he'll go high, and there's not really anything showing he isn't.

The way I see it, these teams are going to be looking for secondary help:

    Ravens(talent)
    Browns(talent)
    Patriots(age)
    Texans(someone next to Robinson)
    Jets(massive turnover)
Rams(talent - high 2nd rounder if the QB they want is gone)
    Falcons(talent not named Houston)
    Steelers(talent)

Vontae Davis' huge knock was that he was a jerk. He was in Ron Zook's doghouse, and never attempted to do anything to get out. He saw that his older brother was making big money, and figured he didn't have to try anymore.

Patrick Robinson gets absolutely worked by big receivers, and like that previous poster said, he gives up a lot of big plays.

Davis' "big knock" was alot of things depending on where you heard it...poor technique...lazy...bad work ethic...cocky...it's all a bunch of horse shit anyway...just notes on pages...In the end he was also a fast, talented CB prospect who wanted to play and needed the discipline. So much of what you hear about prospects is just noise...

Tell me about it. I was able to take him in round three in our mock draft.
