Nah sorry cannot go along with the "our turn" theory since other teams like I have pointed out have won more then even once or twice but 5 & 6 times see Steelers/Boys/Niners & some others 3 times see NYGs & Pats to name a couple. Better players, schemes etc will bring "our turn" faster then waiting for providence to work it's magic. That is MHO. I been waiting for the karma you have mentioned for 41 years & it has never answered the call as yet
At least to the level of the Pats. I hope U do not think I expect 10 straight SB wins even though that would be nice but some reachable goal like 4/6 would be fair I think like the Boys/Niners/Steelers have won
Realistically, lets just say 4 titles, in how many years from now would be satisfactory for the Jets to win their 4th title to you?
This one time, at band camp, we wanted to have a pillow fight but the counselors told us not to have a pillow fight but we had a pillow fight anyway. It was really fun.
Hiring good personnel, firing bad, and doling out big signing bonus checks : GOOD Going halfsies with another split stadium with Giants in JERSEY (and trying to get PSL $) : BAD
Don't worry about Champ. According to his views, his own life is a complete failuer as well. He's not the most successful man in the world, so his career is a failure. His kids are not the most successful people in the world, so his parenting is a failure. If being only the best is the only success he has never succeded at anything. Its a very sad way to view life.
I know champ is older than dirt but there's still a part of me that thinks he might actually be a 14 year old pretending to be a former season ticket holder at the polo grounds.
OOps sorry, had to take a nap there. The one thing in common all those teams you mention have is that all the CS were given time, and these coaches now have legendary status. We have had the likes of Kotite etc completely over hauling the teams and starting over. None of them have ever tried to build, Parcells being the exception, I suppose you could add Mangini also at a push. Ryan is a new Broom, and with a clear identity for the team, which is what the above teams had as well. I'll still take my chances with the Karma though
4 or 6 like its nothing. Only 16 out of 32 teams have actually won superbowls in 46 years. 16 teams in 46 years. Only 3 teams have more than 3 wins. All of those teams have had LEGENDARY TEAMS that made up most of their victories. It is ridiculous to expect superbowls, they must be earned. Your premise and expectations are ridiculous.
H'mm lets see the Steelers won 6 the Boys & Niners 5 each & various other teams 3 each so why should we not be like those elite teams?
How about furniishing me ur real name & address so I can see if I know U to see if U really/truly know me or you are just posting plain old BS. I bet my money on plain old BS
