You can say they will BUT you cannot guarantee it. I will refer to you a ball player we had his name was Marty Lyons & he said he thought for sure after they lost in 82 that we would win it all ALL in 83 & I am sure you know that did not occur
Sorry go do another dance since in FB it is winning the Super Bowl or you had a UNSUCCESSFUL season & those goes for all 31 teams who did not win the SB
Woody got off to a bad start but made a great decision in promoting Tanny to GM. The real problem with evaluating Groh, Woody, Herm, Bradway, or Mangini is that they are all riding on Parcell's coat tails. When Parcells came in and took over this team, everything changed for the better. The culture of losing was replace with greater expectations for this team. Parcells left behind a core group of players that he had three years to train. Parcells and Groh had an incredible draft in 2000 that brought us Ellis (who is still here), Abraham (Mangold came from this one), Pennington, Becht, and Coles. The whole attitude of this team has changed for the better since Parcells came on board.
Sure I see some positives on the team but sorry to say since we did not win the SB this year they had a unsuccessful season just like all other 30 teams who also did not win the SB this year
No the NYJs had a good season gave us some thrills but in the end there season wound up unsuccessfully

I'm not guaranteeing anything, those never work, as long as we continue to improve as a team and maintain a great defense and keep the same impact players I don't see why not, this team has proved that it can work against adversity and win in the end, we have a players coach that would die for this team and a group of players that believe in this coach, isn't that all we need as fans, to believe? I'm not saying it will happen this year or next year or the year after, we've never been in this good of a position before (good drafting, good coach, good organization, good players) and this group of players are WILLING to stay. That window of opportunity is as large as ever, I can't make you a believer nor can anyone else on this message board, it's up to you to have that faith in your team, anythings possible in the NFL, we went from being out of the playoffs to one game away, our players have tasted it, they have to go out there and get it, and we need to support this path not tarnish it Gods been pretty ugly to us in the past with bad fortune, I think that bad fortune is just about up, these group of players can win it all, those players want it BAD, I just feel everything is right for a change ... i'm going to continue to believe in this team, and even if we don't win it, i'll still be here man ... and there is my emotional speech
Who cares about other teams? What about the Steelers with 6? What about the Niners with 5? What about the Boys with 5? What about the teams who have 3 like the NYGs, Pats to name a couple?
fair enough. we have a difference of opinion, due to what makes a season successful. believe me, i hope one day soon we can agree the season was a success.
