I honestly think we can probably find a way to fleece Davis since the Patriots have been doing it for years. However, either Revis or Asomugha is going to have to take a pay cut to put the two of them together. With Revis' speculated contract demands at $14million/year and Asomugha already scheduled to make $14.25million, we're looking at $28-29million on our starting two corners alone next season. I really do not like that idea.

I'm fuckin stunned that this is even circulating in the media. I mean, could we actually fit Revis and Aso under the cap? We'd have like 1/5 of the cap tied up in two players.... with Mangold, Revis, Harris, Brick, and Leon all approaching need for new contracts I really don't see how this could be done. Unless Mike Tannenbaum is the next great mathematician/negotiator of our time.
There will be a cap eventually. Maybe not next year, but there will be a cap and that should be taken into consideration.
