Who should the Dolphins have taken with the 12th pick, DWare?

12th? Hmmmm....given team needs...maybe Earl Thomas...Damian Williams...they could totally afford to take on Cody...

Spikes fits that profile of LBs who'll fall to early round 2 on draft day...not because he's a bad player...but because he's a LB.

I was looking for a WR, ILB, or a S as the first pick. Of course, the Bills make their headscratching pick, Mays and Berry get picked and McClain is also chosen, which left me in a bad position. If I could've I would have actually traded back, but instead I took the ILB that I had rated 2nd.

Also why Matthews to the Chiefs? They have a pretty good young RB in Charles.

It is a 2-back league, after Charles they have nothing, Matthews is a beast.

    Nicely done, my friend.

Ryan Mathews will do extremely well in a committee.

Smart Move, WW ... unless there's no way to get him on the field, take the value

In doing so, your Chiefs are having a killer draft

BTW, I almost took Matthews when I took Dwyer .. it was a close call for me, but ultimately I went with Dwyer because I love those big, brusining 230+ Pound Power Backs. That's why I loved Shonn Greene last year too.

Its just a personal preference thing.

But Matthews is no small fry either. 220 and a legit 20+ carry feature back.

    EXCELLENT PICK

Guys (GMs).........if someone goes over 3 hours and your team isn't within 5 picks...go ahead and pick for the missing GM...don't wait for me, don't want to stop the progress.

Just make an announcement in the Discussion thread your intentions.

I'm at work tomorrow and won't be home till 2;00 P.M., if I'm not delayed. If I'm delayed, it may not be till after dinnertime. I'm off Tue & Wed.

Don't get frustrated,,,things slow down on weekdays. It usually picks up in the late afternoon and evening. We should finish rd 2 and start 3 tomorrow.

I'm forwarding my Phiily draftboard to Mr E & MBGreen.

Remember the clock is off at midnight and starts again at 9:00 A.M.

I'll echo these statements. If the Chiefs come away with a top end ILB, NT, and RB from day one most of thier fans would be very happy. The only other huge need unaddressed is Oline for them. Very nice work.

I think Cody's going to fall even farther come draft day. I haven't fallen for the hype. All he does is take up space. Is that a good thing? Sure, but being so one dimensional, I wouldn't touch him until the 3rd.

IMO, Sapp will be the better edge rusher at the next level. I know Graham had a monster Senior Bowl, but Sapp is bigger with a larger wingspan to get off blocks, quicker, and stronger. I thought he was the better fit for a NE defense. Time will tell.

You're coming off like a real douchbag in this thread. If your intentions are to score a spot in our yearly 7 round mock, this certainly isn't the way to go about it.

That would definitely not be a good thing if the Pats managed to grab a starting LB, CB, and DE. Heck of a draft for the Pats, Tebow is the only pick I dont really care for. I think Tebows going to be a good QB in the NFL, and that obviously wouldn't happen being behind Brady.

I thought Bryant was a great pick. BPA. He's one of the 5 best players at his draft, and the clear #1 at his position.

Sorry, didn't know about the rule. It's a foregone conclusion I won't be involved in that draft it seems, but I do apologize for the rudeness.

Also, I agree that Sapp has nice size and great athleticism for the position. With Witten from UConn and healthy Greg Hardy he's probably the smoothest athlete at the DE position. He just hasn't been very good the past two years. I guess I'll form a more solid opinion come combine. He'll post great workout numbers, and should interview well.
