:rofl::rofl: I love how slowly this thread went from a Pennington as a possible backup dicussion to a Jersey Shore/Music Interests thread

I am just shocked he didn't name himself the Truf187. The way he types this is the most appropriate spelling.
The funny thing is that that wasn't how he started typing. I think he's letting us sort of shape the troll he wants us to hate.

http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/ By Rich Cimini The Jets have received permission from the Ravens to speak with DB coach Mark Carrier, a source said tonight. The Baltimore Sun reported that the Jets already have hired Carrier, but the source said nothing is official yet. Interestingly, the Jets apparently want Carrier, a former standout safety, to coach the defensive line, not his area of expertise. The current line coach is Jeff Weeks, who stepped into the role when Rex Ryan fired Kerry Locklin at midseason. Weeks is close to Ryan and is expected to remain on the staff. Caught up with former Jets QB Chad Pennington today at a youth-football clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Pennington said a few interesting things: His surgically repaired throwing shoulder is close to healthy. He intends to play in 2010. He's okay with being a backup. And -- get this -- he would listen if the Jets called to offer a backup job. Remember, he will be an unrestricted free agent. Pennington admitted it "would be tough, emotionally" to return to the team that fired him 19 months ago, but he left the door open. That would be great but I think Chad is just being a professional and not wanting to close any doors. I don't expect him back but I'd love it if he came back to back up and mentor Sanchez.
Only potential problem I see with having chad as a backup. Is if Sanchez gets into a rut, Jets fans are gonna be screaming to put in Pennington. Dont know how good it would be for Sanchez psych and development having that kind of pressure on him
