    FA:

Anthony Montgomery - More DL...Young and big upside behind Jenkins. Think of it like the Randy Starks signing the Dolphins made, which I loved at the time.

Domenik Hixon - Extra WR and big ST boost.

    Leonard Pope - Backup TE.

1: Brandon Graham - DE/OLB from Michigan is my 2nd favorite pass rusher behind Hardy. Smart and experienced player who plays 100%...Will not start immediately but should be Year 2.

2: Vince Oghobaase - We could use a DE/DT to help our Jenkins and Ellis. Will help our pass rush...Prototypical size and skills for the 3-4 end position...he and Arthur Jones have really been forgotten lately.

5: Myron Lewis - Vandy DB (CB/S) with experience and smarts.

6: Walter McFadden - Auburn CB with good size, smarts, and abilities.

7: Rashawn Jackson - Best FB in this draft. Long term replacement for Richardson.

Sign P Matt Dodge or Zoltan Mesko...whoever goes undrafted.

    Great job.

    I'm a huge Graham supporter.

OgBo is ok...I like Wootten better, I'd settle for Vince.

Lewis will probably play S in the NFL...I think he could go sooner....3/4.

    No O-Line depth???

Agree 100%...we need a damn punter.

I love McFadden in the 6th, I think he has a chance to be good.

My alternate pick for Lewis is John Jerry, the Ole Miss RG. I like him as a prospect, and I'm surprised to see that his work ethic is like his brothers. I thought there'd be character concerns with him.

That said, we have Slauson, Turner, and Hunter as backups on the OL and I kind of like them as a group.

    Nice mock man...

I really don't know if we should use a pick on a fullback - Jason Davis is probably our fullback of the future. It's not a big deal though...the 7th round is also a toss up.

I remember watching a bowl game and McFadden had some major speed. He has to at least be better than Drew Coleman.
I also like Lenord Pope. We need a backup TE who doesn't hold on every play.

Graham just had a sack in the Senior Bowl. They're praising him as "unblockable in practice", "reminds me of Lamar Woodley", "great as a pass rusher, but may be even better against the run".

Damn if Graham works out well at the combine is there a chance he won't be there when we're picking?

I like everything except Oghobaase. I would take a CB like Perrish Cox or Devin McCourtney.

I want a punter named Zoltan...

No interest in drafting a FB. We have a guy on our practice squad. It's 7th round, so who really cares, but the inn at the RB position is full if we're bringing back T-Rich.

Graham will now go in the top 10. Nice thought though.

From what I understand the reason Graham is considered a lesser prospect (by that I mean not top 15) is because his measurables are not ideal, he is a little short for the 3-4 OLB position and he does not have elite timed speed. He plays faster than he will run. In short he is a football player, not a physical freak.

His stock surely took a big jump today, but if my understanding is correct, it will take a hit at combine.

My guess is he goes between 20-30.

Montgomery was one of my favorite prospects in the 2006 along with Mark Anderson, Lawrence Vickers, Winston Justice and Richard Marshall. Too bad we may be going into this uncapped year with all these free agency restrictions. A lot of the players from the 2006 draft, which I thought was one of the deepest in recent history, are going to be FAs.

Back to Montgomery, he was the starter at DT before Haynesworth got there. He was not happy about the demotion so he I'm sure he would love to be picked up by another team. I thought he was an indeal 3-4 DE coming out and still is.

    You're exactly right!

Scouts are very concerrned with Graham's arm lenght..30.5"...average is 32".

The Patriots are probably looking at Graham and considering him.

I will be so pissed if the Pats get Graham, it seems like they draft an OLB I want every year.

IMO, the Pats always draft someone in rd 1.... I didn't expect.

Mayo, Mankins......I always thought they would go a different route.

Kyle Wilson may be a strong candidate....Belichicken likes to draft from the WAC, eventhough they may have more pressing needs than a CB.

Word. When he started he was their best DT. His size/height/strength combo will allow him to be a good 3-4 DL. He can probably play all 3 DL spots. That's exactly what could have been said about Starks, though he never really outplayed Haynesworth in Tennessee. They are also around the same pre-prime age when they were signed.
