You can't make a poll like this with such differently graded players, you'd have to know what round they would be selected in and everything, and why only 4 options?
if we had to take a receiver this year....i'm cool with Golden Tate. But apparently the 2011 draft is loaded with talent at the WR position.....so if the Jets decided to pass on drafting a wideout in 2010.....it's not the end of the world.
i'm going with shipley, mostly because he won't be a first round pick and i don't want to use the first on a wr
Out of those I voted Shipley With our first pick (which means not necessarily a first rounder) I want a corner... I'm open to getting a Wr from the third round on. I wouldn't be opposed to drafting Barnes and I'm intrigued by this Andre Roberts kid from Citadel. Tulane kid (williams) supposedly practiced pretty well at the senior bowl. I also wonder what kind of skillset Emmanuel Sanders (SMU) could bring in going through the middle. All those guys are mid-late round picks...
Fred Barnes has excellent hands and a good route runner but if we are in the later rounds like 2nd or 3rd id go with Shipley... To me he is just a shifty guy where he is hard to locate and is always on the move
Barnes, Decker, or Williams in the 5th would be ideal. I want to go Corner and OLB with the first 2 picks.
Golden Tate As a huge ND fan I have been wishing for Golden Tate to become a Jet. He is an incredible playmaker. He will turn a bad throw into an amazing catch. He will take a quick screen, and make people miss. He can line up in the slot, and create havoc. What is really fun to watch is his acrobatic catches on jump balls for TD's. Not to mention his playmaking ability on returns. He would be a great weapon for Sanchez.
Given a choice? Damian Williams. I do not want the 26 year old slot WR. Shipley is good, but Gilyard is better.
