Living in Chicago, I like Manning quite a bit. Great speed and can be a returner as well.

The Rams will definitely be keeping Atogwe unless a team makes them a ridiculous offer. Especially if they draft Suh and start building their D, which is what Spags will most likely do.

Either way, there are a number of decent names on that list, and even if we don't come away with a player as athletically talented at Kerry, I'd be happy with someone who will bring it every play, even if that means tackling a RB or TE.

Landry and Sharper and Manning will all be staying put too.

    Names I like:

    Doughty
    Kaesviharn
    Pollard
    Wilson

...all these guys have been decent as starters, and Kaesviharn can hit.

Roy Williams can hit, but he couldn't cover me in an open space.

I think would and should capitalize on the Safety draft, not in FA.

Nate Allen, Taylor Mays, Chad Jones, and Morgan Burnett would all be nice picks.

Care to elaborate? The guy's a 5-time pro-bowler who's been injured the past two seasons.

Roy Williams is absolutely horrible. He couldn't cover me, no thanks. That's the elaboration on that topic.

He is terrible in coverage. The one thing he does well is hit hard, but his main duty in coverage is way worse than Kerry Rhodes.

For the first time in a LONG TIME, I have full faith in Rex. If he thinks Landry is any good, Landry will be in Green and White. I don't think there is a better evaluator of defensive ability in the NFL than Rex Ryan. I'm not even gonna sweat the offseason...He will make the right moves.

I think the reed you are talking about is thinking of retiring. Something about a neck injury!

I'll take a Sharper and maybe we draft a safety later in the draft to groom as his successor.

Sharper IS a playmaker who had a ton of picks this year. Him Leonard and Revis would be 3/4 of a terrific secondary.

He's in the right place at the right time because he knows where to go!!! Hmmm... completely the opposite of the guy who used to wear #25.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing. I think he would fit VERY well in Rex's system

Roy Williams is a joke. Our LBs have more coverage skills then Williams. He's slow and stiff. He can hit hard, so can John Lynch and we aren't going after him either.

Uhm . . . FUCK NO. Roy Williams is probably one of the worst cover safeties in the history of the NFL. No thanks.

You do understand if the Safety is a good player you won't have a chance at getting him... You will have the 30th place to get a free agent. Next, you aren't going to trade your safety because he is not that good. To make a long story short you have to build your team through the draft on don't depend on FA
