We were one half from the Super Bowl and now the season is over. We have all offseason to worry about this, or at least until his bonus is due. I don't have a problem with him not saying anything.

I also want him back and I am definitely okay with him taking a little bit of a break from the media and the constant questions. This will become an issue soon enough, there is no need to rush it the day after we lose the biggest game we have played in 10 years.

Good for him. It seems as though for once he isn't trying to be an attention whore.

If you look at the Raven's safeties over the years they've used a lot of guys next to Ed Reed, going a season or two with Gary Baxter, Will Demps, Dawan Landry, Jim Leonhard etc.

Ryan has turned over his safeties more than almost any other position on the defense, and this includes the fact that he had Ed Reed every year except the injury year.

I'm guessing he's got Leonhard penciled in as his signal caller and probably strong safety for years to come. He's probably looking at Rhodes as a short term proposition unless something develops that makes him change that view point.

Ed Reed is retiring this year, so he can come play for Ryan next season... watch.

If he wants to stay around then i hope he stays. If he wants to leave then I hope he doesn't force the issue so we have to settle for lesser compensation.

What makes you think the Ravens would just let him out of his contract if he pulled a Favre?

Listening to Ryan's presser today, it doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement for Rhodes....reading between the lines.

He gave Edwards major props and said he will be back.

So everybody is all of a sudden more important than the team? Sounds like Washington and Jones in recent history, others in more distant history. Who cares what he thinks, says or does? The team will survive.

The safety in a ryan defense is suppose to be jumping balls, getting deflections, taking away a side of the field.. This guy is literally just a spectator.. instead of making a play , he just tackles.. trade him to browns.. Please.

i agree. he brings nothing special to our team other than his great player attitude, and pretty boy off the field life style. i would love to find a better replacement in the draft.

Draft picks, and the fact Reed hasn't produced what he use to in the past two seasons due to injury. A good relationship between Ryan and the Ravens brass.

Now I would love Ed Reed, but I would hate to get him that way. If he pulls a "Favre" than that type of action will become a trend in the league. I really hate when that BS happens.

Not quite look at the upper right hand one. The only way it could be gayer is if those quifs wore pink triangles.

He should be happy we are even considering bringing him back after underperforming for the last 3 years.
