Yeah, I saw this. This is yet another reason why the Jets need to win homefield advantage next time they make the playoffs. Jet fans don't travel well!

There was a point during the 4th quarter where I wish I was tasered instead of watching the game.

I was at the game. Most of the guys dressed in green were hammered and yelling obscenities regardless of who they were around. Jets fans were getting into trouble Friday and Saturday night as well. As a group they were arrogant and projected themselves as a very uneducated, loud and embarrassing group. I did see many fans (mostly families) that were well spoken and had some class. They took in the museums and the city rather than midwestern priced jagerbombs. I cannot speak for this specific incident, but based on what I saw, this guy probably had it coming. 11 home games prior to this one without a taser incident... coincidence? For what it is worth, I think Rex is the perfect coach for your team. It wouldn't work most places, but maybe for Jersey. Loud, in your face, zero discipline and just a gluttonous slob.

Good. Stay in Indy, and on you're own team's board.

I live three blocks from the stadium. I could hear them chanting Friday and Saturday nights until 4am. I also read the paper.

Living downtown you meet many of the opposing team's fans. Some areas just seem classier than others.

If you've ever been to Indianapolis you'd know how this happened. Andy Griffin and Barney Fife are alive and well and on patrol there in their 1958 Ford Cruiser.

I drove from Chicago and went there. The threats and everything from the police were horrific. Nothing was damaged, there were no fights. We were just having a ton of fun. And they had to ruin it. And the security inside was worse. I cursed once and they threatened to arrest me. I guarantee you if I was a Colts fan, they would have done it right along with me.

Haha. You travel very far out of Indy and you might be right. The city itself is not as small as you think though. 12th or 13th largest city in the nation. Big city? No. But definitely bigger than Mayberry.

I was one of those people chanting till 4 in the morning after drinking Jagerbombs. Actually I wasn't, but I would've been if I was there. Except I prefer Irish Car Bombs over Jagerbombs...

If I'm in the bomb kind of mood I prefer grape. I have to admit that the J-E-T-S chant is pretty cool even if it is outside of my window. It would be cool to have a chant like that take over a stadium.

    ;)

It's my experience that big city folk often don't do much to deserve kindness.

I don't live in Indy, but I will say that it's one of the friendlier cities you'll ever visit.

I have learned that if you cooperate with the cops... they don't beat you.

My guess is that what's considered acceptable behavior towards police is different between Indy, and NYC. Yet another reason I hated it when I visited and lived there.

Don't take that as bashing. It sounds that way... but NYC is a great city. I just don't fit in there and didn't like it at all. I know you're all gonna call me a hillbilly hayseed blah blah blah. When a cop tells you to do something... you do it... then if you think it was bullshit, you find someone with a camera and go back so you have evidence of your being an asshole while he beats you...
