Well Jets fans I was really impressed with how your team matured through the playoffs. You are young and have great things ahead of you. I feel like we too (Fins) are improving and you are just a few drafts ahead of us in terms of pulling some top talent. I think the Dolphins-Jets rivalry is renewed in earnest and will be one of the hotteset tickets in the NFL for the next few years. Really? I appreciate your attitude, but one glance at finheaven shows the same collectively ignorant wishful thinkers that make me hate your fan base. Seriously, it's full of threads about how the Jets are an average team that screwed itself out of a chance to compete in the future by getting lucky this postseason. What's new?It is a rivalry and it is to be expected. But I do not think they represent all of us and I am sure some of the fans here do not represent all Jets fans. Hey Fin... thanks for the kind words. Been a long while since I have seen you posting here. Ya gotta visit us a little more now and then. :beer: I agree, the Jets - Dolphins rivalry is coming around to take the place of the Jets-Pats one we have had going the last few years. The East ebbs and flows now and then, but usually ends up being a beast of a conference. I don't expect that to change much competition wise.
It’s just that there seems to be a lot of threads devoted to Jets hate on your boards to the point of being scary if it wasn’t so pathetic as it takes up so much of that board’s posts. You will not find Dolphin hate at that level or quantity in this board. I seriously have not been more disenchanted with the Dolphins or their fan base than I have been this season due to all the hate. That said, thanks for the props. I’d like to see both our teams make the Pats irrelevant.

Coming from you, I really appreciate the compliments as you have been, throughout the years, perhaps the classiest of all Fin fans that grace our board. Don't mind our newer members. They don't know you and for the time being, perhaps are still a lil bit salty about yesterday. Hey guys sorry I haven't been around as much. Just working like a dog and traveling a lot. Its all I can do sometimes to keep up with my team. But I remember the really cool and great fans from here. Its terrific to see some familiar names. You guys had a hell of a run this year. Of course I am happy to have the sweep on you, but in the end would much rather have been where you were. After the first quarter I thought you guys were really going to do it. But Peyton Manning is Peyton Manning and their run defense came out of no where. I think a sweep again next year is probably not in the cards...but I can dream can't I? Cheers to all my green friends.
If the opposite happened we'd see the same moronic posts here bashing the dolphins. That's the way it goes. Every fan base is the same, we just root for different teams.
No doubt my friend. I remember last year when we won the division there was plenty of haters blowing us up on this site. It is exactly what happens on every fan board. FinHeaven. TGG, all of them. That's fine it keeps the rivalry fresh. It won't keep me from popping into here and saying hi to my friends.
Thanks for the classy post. That said, I could care less how the Fins do if the Jets are not playing but down here most Jets fans care significantly. I guess it is from all the smack that gets thrown our way. My best friend was texting me shit Sunday and I never once texted anything about the Jets when they won. No worries the idiot does not have a text plan and I spammed him with " Hahahaha I hope this text costs you $50 you dick." 35 times. He was pissed. The only pleasure I derive when the Dolphins lose is the cathartic feeling I get when all the knuckleheads call the Mandich show. Other than that who gives a crap........
