he's destined to become one of those bubble guys every year. i'd say he's likely to be replaced by a hungrier player.

It's not just Coleman. Lowery and Lito are problems too. We have a huge dropoff after Revis (yeah he is the best in the league, but our drop between the 1 and 2 SB seems bigger than most teams').

A corner has to be one of the biggest offseason priorities because we will not consistently pressure QBs in every game all season. It's too bad that we have allowed good QBs to kill us in the slot. That's a pure reflection on out talent and depth at CB after Revis. It really did kill us yesterday.

Peyton pointed about the blueprint yesterday, so we need to plug up that hole.

Ghost, Rhodes, Coleman. If any of those bastards wear green next season my head will explode.

What QB doesn't pick on the tail enders?
I wish we could have a secondary full of Revis's, but no NFL team has or ever will.

What did Sanchez do yesterday for the Braylon TD? Yes that right, pick on the back up.

@ 5th your always going to get same or similar. If he does become any good then he moves up the DC anyway.

What 5th CB in the league is any good? Honestly? Can you name one?

Still upset about the loss but coleman shouldn't be starting. Like most folks here he could be a servicable nickle or dime cb but nothing more. I think if we could somehow get a couple of cbs via fa or the draft then give him his walking papers if not then 1 more year but look to upgrade after '10. IMO

    Ditto for Lowery.

    LOL, exactly.

If he was anything above that he'd be a better CB. I guess some people want 15 Revis options.

Bottom line, when your 5th CB plays a major role in a game against Peyton Manning, it's not going to be pretty. Never.

All this whining about our frikin 5th corner is truly amazing.

Coleman's bad but he's better than Ihedigbo and can't be much worse than Sheppard. Coleman at least has come up with a few big plays. Unless we sign another 2 or 3 CBs we shouldn't be in any rush to cut him loose.

First we have to address our lousy pass rush, and that should take some pressure off the secondary. If Coleman returns he'll be 5th/6th string again, which means he won't be on the field 99% of the time anyway, and with a better pass rush he shouldn't have to hold coverages for so long. I say keep him.

We can tell him that Coleman taught Revis everything. It might just work, lol
