"Where we actually belong". Now that is pathetic. Hell, your team wouldnt be in the damn game if we didnt pull the starters. And regardless of what mind bending experiment you have been under. Your 66 yards rushing up to that point wasn't scaring anyone. 5-11 - is it coming. Probably, but they just won 116 games this decade -damn near a 12-4 record every, freaking year for 10 years. Just pulled up your team records -it took your fantastic organization 16 years to win the same amount, and you haven't won a SB in 40 years. So based all the information at my fingertips, it appears that the Jest, will secure that 5-11 season before the Colts. Again, thanks for playing.
Go back and watch the game vs. the Jets. Sheppard on Collie. 3rd and long. Collie moves his leg(false start) Sheppard pointing..no call
It is not the first time it has been brought up. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=52477 (excuse the junc side-track) The OP has a valid point. We are talking millions of dollars here. The league has done the math and knows what match-up it wants. I see a long day of questionable officiating for the Jets faithful.
I think my thread was more valid than this one, as everyone seems to want to change the rules every time Manning loses. It's more about the "want to" than any rule changes actually being made (except the Ty Law rule, which is oddly named since it has a lot more to do with Polian/Manning).
YOU WERE RIGHT!!!!!!what about that non roughing the passer call if that was peyton it would have been called right away because they need peyton healthy for the NFL to work. some call such as the illegal contact or that pass interference was bogus!!!!
It is true without that call the Jets defense doesn't get thrashed, Greene doesn't get hurt, Jones can get more then 3 yards on a carry, Peyton doesn't throw for almost 400 yards. Yeah that penalty cost the Jets the game.
There was definitely home cookin' but the Colts were the better team and we didn't lose b/c of bad calls.
I stand-by what I said but we lost because we could not cover their receivers. If Manning was touched like Mark, 15 yarder no doubt.
If that happened our player would have been ejected. mark got 3 hits that would have been flagged had the rols been reversed. On the TD to Keller it was a clear helmet to helmet, MUCH worse than what they called on Ray Lewis last week against Indy.
