We play our division rivals twice of course (New England, Miami, Buffalo home and home) We play the AFC North (Baltimore, Cincinnati at home & Cleveland & Pittsbugh on the road) We play the NFC North (Green Bay, Minnesota at home & Detroit, Chicago on the road) We play the Houston Texans (at home) and the Denver Broncos (on the road) due to us finishing second in the division. The full schedule won't be released until April, but that's the opponents we will face next season.
I was hoping someone would make another thread about this today. The first one listing our opponents has been buried for far too long. Nothing like redundant schedule threads on AFCC day.
Just a wild guess. I'm quite sure when the numbers come in this game might be rated higher than the second game. I could be wrong, but with the Jets having the young hot team, and they losing to the Colts it would probably make for a great season opener.
Probably true if Indy wins next week; good shot we'd get the Thursday night treatment for better or for worse. If NO wins, I doubt it.
Errr.... Everyone does know the schedule to be played next season is already made correct? The schedule for the next year is known as well...The only thing that will change on the schedules are the placement games in the NFC and AFC... each team plays the team that finished in the same position as they...Your team plays the number two teams of the two NFC and AFC teams from the division you don't play... In other words, your team doesn't play the Colts...
And you say Patriots fans don't know what they're talking about. Anyway, great season for the Jets and their new coaching staff. Looking forward to a tight 3 team race in the AFC East next year. I'm guessing jets will be looking at a DE in the draft, same as Pats.
Our first game of the year will probably be against Notre Dame. Would get good ratings. Fuck the pre-determined schedule.
Haha the way the Jets have been playing, the schedule looks easy right now. Its a tough one though, but I can't wait.
All I know is that the Jets will be on national TV quite a bit next season. That SUX. Sunday at 1 is the best.
