Stop the excuses. Colts were the better team.

Of course, no one knows what would've happened if Greene hadn't gotten hurt, but it still doesn't take away from the absolutely incredible game Peyton played.

My guess is since the ball was away nobody saw the hit by Bullit on Sanchez but rookie QB's don't get that call that often.

I thought we did a pretty good job against your Run before Greene went out and was not surprised at all you guys came out throwing it. Pittsburgh did something simlilar against us a few years ago on their way to the first superbowl with Ben R.

I rooted for PM against the Bears but I'm not pulling for the Colts and Jim Irsay -- a bigmouth who shoots his mouth off almost as much as his drunk father -- even though I don't hate them.

If we had LW and SG for the 2nd half, we'd be going to Miami. JMHO but hey, I'm just being honest.

That was a great game. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Some of those throws sanchez somehow got off were amazing. Jets are a team heading in the right direction and Rex Ryan is definitely the coach for the new era of the NYJ

I don't hate the Colts, I hate our bad lucky with official calls and the Greene injury. Greene was going to start rolling..... P.M was great but our Secondary other than Revis played wack! Eli was ruling for his brother, I guess family is more important than the City that he was play for.

Eh using Smith with the wildcat wouldn't of been good, your defense is too fast, well we don't know what would've been with Greene, shit happens, good luck in Miami

Indy had more yards rushing the 1st half.

In fact Indy had the edge in most of the stats yet trailed you guys I thought capitalized very well.

I don't agree but understand why you think that but SG wasn't gonna help cover Garcon or Collie.

You guys did the best job against Dallas Clark of anyone we played all year.

Ronnie Brown GASHED us for 200+ out of the wildcat so I am not sure Smith wouldn't have too he is a weapon.

Thanks for the well wishes you guys have nothing to be ashamed of.

Own the AFC East the next several years :)

Very classy. I know we got into it a touch with each other, but this speaks volumes of your character. Good luck in two weeks. I'll be rooting for you, cowboy.

These stupid ass domes are getting on my nerves. Saints/Vikings/Colts... 3 out of the 4 teams.

Manning is one of the greatest QBs of all time but when ppl talk about him they need to bring up that he played in a super fast artificial astroturf race track dome with no wind or weather.

Im not making an excuse for us but if we played outside in the cold/wind/snow?/rain? we would have had a much better chance.

I hate domes in general. NFL playoff football was meant to be played out in the freezing cold....... hopefully with snow too.

Interesting point.Domes do tend to make a high powered Offense damn near unstoppable. However; the 2001 Pats found a way to hold the Rams "greatest show on turf" to 17 points. Jets secondary was just plain bad yesterday and I'm not sure that playing outside would have made the end result much different.

Manning is 6-3 at home in his dome in the playoffs. He's been beaten.

Let's try that Ryan has never had an answer for Peyton Manning. He's 0-5 against him.

Plus Ryan never had an offense that scared Indy.

He's choked many times before in pristine conditions, it's typical jets luck that he played probably his best play game against us.

He played great, that was regular season manning showing up in a big game in January.

DT53......Thanks, I typically don't start yapping smack until someone else does. I didn't think you were out of line anytime.

Most fans of other teams don't realize the difference in this years defense and previous Colt defenses. Not only are they fast, but they are quick off the ball and that can and did disrupt the blocking numerous times. Muir and Johnson are also a lot bigger than Brock and Reid who used to play DT.

Losing Green hurt, but given that he was held in check until the injury, I'm not convinced the run game would have gotten much better. Thomas is a 1000+ plus back and the O-line was still intact.

Sanchez played a great game. Shott did a great job of calling plays early that allowed him to have some easy throws and gain confidence as the game went on. The TD to Keller showed what he is capable of bringing to the table. He knew he was going to get laid out and still hung in there. His inexperience showed just at the end when he threw the ill advised floater back across the grain that fell to the ground and the high pass that went threw the receivers hands and ended up intercepted. But overall, he gets high marks.

For those who say we're lucky to have Manning, no kidding? I and every other Colt fan couldn't agree more. I have no foolish thoughts that this would be the same team with any other QB. If it had Thomas, Brees, etc. this would still be a good team, but not anywhere as good as what we have today. This is what I posted earlier. This isn't the same playoff Manning from 3 or more years ago. You could see starting last year he's taken his mental play to another level. The first two sacks didn't rattle him or the line. Once he figured out what they were doing, the blitz wasn't effective for the most part.

I'm not sure what player losses the Jets will incur during the offseaon, but Ryan has this team headed in the right direction. As long as they draft right, you'll have something to hang your hats on for the coming seasons.
