I'm upset at this (soon to be) loss, but I'm already getting text messages and shit from non-Jet fan friends like oh they did well, but they shouldn't have been in that game anyway. Fuck that shit, it just makes me so angry when I hear that. I swear I have never said that to anybody else. Sanchez was spot on and you know what, if Greene, Washington, Jenkins, Ellis, Strickland weren't hurt I bet we'd win that game. These Jets were playoff contenders and my God I hope we fucking rock the league next year, so we don't have to hear this bullshit ever again.
As disappointing as it is to lose this game, you have to realize it's just not our time....yet. Only the most jaded of Jets fans would argue that we're the best team in the NFL this year. Give us another year, some more depth at key positions and a more mature QB and I think we can do some real damage.
we are close there are pieces we need and we have the foundation of being agreat team. However bad we wanted to go to the superbowl, and i wanted it bad. This year has beena success
yes you can tinker all you want in the offseason but you never know when you make it this far again. could be decades. see cardinals (superbowl last year) ravens (AFC championship last year) bears (2007 super bowl) the list goes on and on. but still the experience sanchez has had in these playoffs is invaluable and he should for sure improve to hopefully our sanchize. and another CB and pass rusher should help too.
