It still hasn't completely sunk in.

Our jets are in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?!

I'm watching NFL Network and thinking to myself "who woulda thought I'd ever see this image?" Scrolling across the bottom of the screen was: "Coming up: Manning Greatness [] Can Jets win it all? [] Rhodes' SB Journey"

Really, who would have ever thought we would be in the position sitting at 4-6 after a 1-6 slide? It seemed worse than last year's collapse, but what do you know, this team turns it around and storms all the way to the AFC Championship Game! And now we have a chance to win one game and to the Super Bowl?! When this team was 4-6 at one point?! Wow, I'm still in shock.

After all these years of watching this team get our hopes up and fail us on the brink of getting to this point to play for a super bowl, it finally has happened. It almost feels as if this team is finishing what they never did in 04. Come in as a wildcard team that isn't expected to do anything in the playoffs, then go on a run. Except this time our opponent was the team with the choking kicker.

I'm still just enjoying the ride. Whatever happens at 3pm today, this has been one hell of a ride. Now lets sit back and keep enjoying the ride, if our team brings their A game today then there is a good chance that we will be playing in super bowl 44!

AND THE HOME OF THE JETS! GET IT DONE TODAY!

This is our Superbowl man. That's just the way I feel right now. This is a Superbowl to me. Now, if this is a Superbowl to me, I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA WHAT THE ACTUAL SUPERBOWL WILL BE TO ME, that's the funny part. This is my Superbowl, so I suppose the actual Superbowl is going to be the Extra-Fucking-Super-Duper-Over-The-Top Bowl.

Ha! I am so pumped up here it is driving me and me driving my wife crazy. I am a wreck.
I will have to have a wee dram (McCallums) to calm the nerves. Thought this would tickle you 227.

On ESPN they just showed the Super Bowl game balls for all 4 possible matchups... pretty surreal to see the Jets' name on 2 of them. I can't even imagine how I'll feel on Feb 7 if the Jets are on that field...

First things first though... let's go Jets.

Gentleman...regardless of what happens today, it's been a fantastic ride man. From the highs of the 3-0 start to 4-6 to fighting back to 7-6 then down to 7-7...and then here. It's been a fuckin great START to the era of Sanrex. Hopefully it doesn't end today. LETS GO JETS!!!!

I was just at a grocery store in Jacksonville with a Jets t-shirt on and people were diggin' it. It was an unfamiliar feeling.

i am so fucking pumped up for this shit! i have been trying to keep busy this morning but all i can think about is what it might actually feel like if the jets win. i'm feeling a calm excitement kinda like i expect this team to win... i have never felt this way about a jets team until a few weeks ago. i actually believe they will win every time they step on the field... this is a new era in jets football and this is just the beginning!

We are further on than any of us thought. I will be upset beyond belief if we don't get the result today, however there are massive pluses to be taken from this season win or lose today.

One thing seems certain we are set for the immediate future, certainly the next 5 years we should be a perennial 11-5 plus team. Would be like living in dream land.

I have had 4 buds now and the missus is getting the burgers ready for 8pm GMT.

    Go Jets!!!!

And hey if you think about it, we really need to seize this opportunity while we're here. It is so hard to get to this point in football, even if you are dominant the entire regular season. We can be a better team next year, go 12-4 and get a bye, yet be one and done just by having a bad game.

So LETS GO JETS! Take advantage of this now!

I live in S FL and walked around all morning in my Chrebet jersey and had a couple people wish me luck and they were pulling for us. Definitely not the usual response I get around here...

On the money Rob. Great teams have been to this point, never followed through and have been lost in this mists of time. Carpadiem. Seize the day.

I couldn't sleep. Up at 4:30. Popped my first brew at ten, I'm almost ashamed to admit. I can't stand the waiting. I'm bouncing off the walls.
