Actually the stadium is within the city limits of Miami. My estimate would be the mileage is more/less the same from either Miami airport or Ft. Lauderdale airport. West Palm Beach airport is around 60 miles or so from the stadium
A tad off the subject but as the "host" team the Dolfags get a allocation of SB tix. I know somebody who won a pair when the Denver SB was played there. He sold them for 5Gs per seat according to him
My buddy has a place in south beach that's never used, so I'm covered there. Free air. Just that little pickle of the Jets actually beating Indy and somehow securing tickets to the big dance.
Great thread - I am also novice related to SB - told my wife years ago if we ever get there I am going. Does anyone know when we will know results of Jets lottery. I knew before the Mud Bowl - still have the slip to pick up tix - and I'm pretty sure I knew I didnt get them before the Denver game. Thanks!
Just got off the phone with StubHub again for more clarification. FYI: 1) All tickets listed are together unless otherwise noted by the seller. A sale of two tickets is automatically tickets that are next to one another. 2) There is a 10% "buyers fee" added on. A $2,000 ticket will cost you $2200.
Set up a bing account.. at bing.com save 25% on a ticket// It takes 60 days to get the 25% cashback.. but well worth it Bing is a search engine, take it right to the stubhub website.. It works. saved 160 on a world series ticket
Fort lauderdale is the closest airport to the stadium..I got a rental on that website i posted for sat-monday 98.00 with tax and all...Thats from the west palm airport code, pbi I wanted to thank 17a for pushing me to get the plane tix and car rental and my accountant Gary who said Lets do it and worry about it later
Yea you got them before Jet game for the Bronco game in 99..I am trying to remember was there a lottery in 83?.. We were able to get 6 tickets back then.
I was in Orlando Apt two weeks ago and got a brand new car from EZ Rentals... cheapest one at that long counter they have there. Cost me $160 for the week and unlimited mileage. That was tax and all. Car had like 1350 mile on it. If I'm going into Fort Liquordale I'll probably try to get one of their cars if they're in that airport. There won't be a problem getting a car or airline tix if you jump on it right away. The main problem is hooking up with the SB tix.
Okay, so now it's time to preliminarily discuss hotels. Where would the best place be to stay near the stadium and have plenty of Jets fans around? Does anyone have any ideas about that? The place should probably have it's own bar, so that would probably rule out a Best Western or Red Roof or the like. Just askin'.
The nearest towns to the stadium are Hollywood, Pembroke Pines & Weston so that will give U a head start. Hollywood is on the ocean, Many of the Dolfags including the best QB to never win a SB live in Weston (upscale). Pembroke Pines is basically single family houses but there is many establishments there including a Hooters
God I am pumped!! Just went to my local pub which is like something out of the living dead and on our local UK sky sports was Sanchez!! God bless her but my wife shouted so loud it was scary.Mark Fucking Sanchize...the pub was silent..we are no longer allowed in!!!! Anyway reserved the Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale. All we need is a win!!
Since we are sure we are going to Miami for the Super Bowl. I pre-bought 2 tickets with an only if the Jets are in the super bowl stipulation. The cost $1900 ea for undetermined seats that could be any where in the upper deck. Thought this might help in you planning.
