Demaryius Thomas reminds me of TO, he looks like he is going to have a very good NFL career. I don't know what his character is like but he looks scary on the field.

I like Williams too but do we really need a receiver? Edwards Cotch and Clowney\Smith...I would look receiver in the later rounds if at all.

Not a big fan of Lafell either

If we can draft Tate that would be amazing. He'd be our instant slot receiver and is a Percy Harvin clone.

Damian Williams is Reggie Wayne reincarnated but with slightly more explosive speed. Plus, him and Sanchez are familiar with each other. If he's on the board when we pick I think Sanchez will lobby for him big time

I wouldn't mind either of those two wide receivers. Of course we could always go with Shipley (tho I consider him more of a 3rd rounder we don't have one), Gilyard, or Decker in the 2nd round.

Where is Freddie Barnes projected to go?

He reminds me of Brandon Marshall. He's scary good

I honestly didn't put him in my post because I think he'll skyrocket into the middle of the 1st round.

Bryant will be long gone before our pick but a good chance that Tate and Williams will fall to us. Shipley will for sure be available

Freddie Barnes is that guy who screams character and work ethic to me. He isn't overly flashy but you can just tell that guy is a football player, and he damn well will find a way to have a good long career as a #2 or one of the elite slot guys in the NFL. He is exactly what we need here in the slot to help give Sanchez that one more security blanket, and he really would help to complete this offense...

This was my original opinion, but the more I think about it the more I would like to draft a receiver in Late RD 1/RD 2. Our Offense is cleary not a strength so why not add a weapon with reliable hands to be at least our 3rd down target?

Brad Smith has tryed and failed as a true WR, he is useful in other situations but not a receiver, and the coaching staff obviously doesn't like Clowney. Clowney must not be focused and can only run 1 route.

Golden Tate would be an awesome slot guy for Sanchez. With Keller/Edwards/Cotchery/Washington/Tate as receiving threads, our offense could be very young and explosive real soon, just like our defense.

Also, Ryan likes turning UDFA and late round picks into stars, Jim Leonhard and Bart Scott were both undrafted, and I am guessing he is going to make something out of Westerman. So we may go offense in the early rounds until is it a strength.

If we do go with a WR it'll probably be Tate, Shipley, Barnes. Small but great slot receiver guys in the mold of Welker.

I like Damian Williams but I don't know if he'd fit into being a slot receiver for us and we have already have Edwards and Cotch as our top 2

I was watching the film on him and the guy has good hands... so say this the guy doesnt time to well in the 40 with a just say 4.5-4.6.. Do the hands make up for the lack of speed? To me i think that if your a good route runner in the league thats all that really matter you could get away from any coverage..

You think with Bryant and the whole Nfl situation people wont be skeptical about selecting him?

I don't think it will have any effect. It's pretty clear that he made a minor mistake, and the NCAA characteristically overreacted. I think it's more a help to his character that he admitted what he'd done afterwords.
