Jets Tailgate I'm the one in front wearing the white Revis Me on NBC 4. I was on the 6 o'clock news. That's Bruce Beck. I looked in the camera, told the world that I flew from NY to Salt Lake, drove from Salt Lake to San Diego, and then I said "SAN DIEGO, Y'ALL STUCK ON REVIS ISLAND TODAY BABY!!!" and started a J-E-T-S chant. Me on NBC leading a Jets chant.
Me and one of my best friends. He's a diehard 49ers fan. One of my most intense fan conversions to date. Our boys warming up. Absolute chaos the San Diego Chargers like to call "warm up."
Comparison between the Jets warmup and the Chargers nonsense. My section was entirely Jets fans. It almost felt like a home game. The win.
sweet bro - how do all the Jets fans wind up together like that? Times like this I wish I didn't have the wife/kids cause I woulda been there!
I was wondering that myself. It has to be the sections where most of the tickets were available for sale by 3rd party brokers.
I felt like I had a target on my back. I was lucky to not get hurt, because I, being the asshole that I am, was still running my goddamn mouth. I saw a Jets fan bleeding from his forehead and nose, found out later that he was jumped by seven Chargers fans. Those. Fans. Were. PISSED.
Awesome pics. I feel like a complete shithead that you were man enough to fly to Salt Lake City, and drive from there to go to the game. I was too broke and lazy to find a way to get there and drive 9 hours.
I went to Salt Lake City to visit my friends from the University of Utah over my winter break from Rutgers. I landed there on Jan 6th, watched the Cincinnati game on TV, hung out for a week and drove to San Diego on the 16th.
I like how your 'die-hard' 49ers friend has a Sanchez jersey on. Also..pretty telling how undisciplined that other team is. "Nonsense" is right. Holy shit, at least look like you belong.
..nice photos..I was out there..in row 9 sec. 2 FL behind the Jets bench..awesome experience....I was disapointed that only a few Jet players came out after the game to shake hands...I definately thought Rex would thank the fans that went all the way out there...
