I recommend watching this. Hopefully we get a similar result.
I had a dream that I missed the entire game and forgot what day it was an i turned it on it the fourth quarter with three minutes left and we were down 17-10 with the ball driving for the game tying score, would any of you take that? I woke up and thanked god 60 times.
i had a dream i was suppose to meet greenmachine at a tailgate in indy in the bean field. it was a blizzard outside and on each side of the stadium was signs of the parking areas. people would not get out of their car b/c of the weather.but when i found a parking spot i forgot my tix at home. scary shit
well we had the ball, so if we scored id assume we would have shaved most the time off the clock, it probably won't happen like this anyway, but its possible
given that there are no other options... i would take that... if there was an option of being up one point and letting the defense play, i would rather have that
off topic but i had a HILARIOUS dream about the Jets game last night... Jets started with the ball and did a flea flicker. As Jones was about to be tackled, he lateraled it back to Sanchez who overthrew a wide open Clowney on the left sideline. Jets however, drove down the entire length of the field, but as Jones was going in for the score, he fumbled! Also, someone got hurt on the play (don't know who.) For some reason Francesa was announcing the game, and he goes "they went bing, bang, boom down the field but couldn't get the job done. Now (injured player) has to practice with his team." What a nonsensical dream. I was sitting on my couch and I just said "What an awful turnover!" then woke up.
I gotta go on a road trip on Monday for all next week, so I've got to be packed and ready before the game starts. No way I want to do that after the game, win or lose. I should probably get mostly ready tomorrow. Also tomorrow I will stock up for the game. Last week there were the Saturday games to distract, although both were crappy games. I had some friends over, too, so we had a good time. Not this week. I figure I'll get the chain saw out on Saturday. That's always a great distraction this time of the year. Tonight will be a bit tough because the wife had scheduled going to her book group with her girlfriends. Still, I think the weekend will go fast enough. I like that the Jet game comes on first. It will be here soon enough, I think.
That's what I like too, no waiting through the NFC game. Isn't it odd that the Viqueens also played in that game back in 98 too? It was a bad omen when the road team won that game and we were in Denver.
If you don't have the DVD, or if you have it on VHS but don't have a VCR (like me, lol), NFL Network is airing it on Saturday 8:30PM EST.
Pretty crazy that this game was held in Miami and.....this years superbowl is in Miami.....Maybe our luck will continue and we'll play yet another superbowl in Miami...
