Giants were all over SI covers during their Super Bowl run, didnt bother them.

 

I thought they had SI covers with all the 4 teams left

 

They did, si is no Madden as far as curses go.

When you say that about the last statement on the page it doesn't really have the same effect. I also stopped reading there because there were no more words after that.

 

It's not a curse. Think about it. The reason SI is putting the Jets on the cover and not one of the other 3 teams is that they are betting the Jets will lose. Might as well get their Jets cover in now - they can get two of the other teams on the cover next week. So it's actually a reverse jinx.

 

Haven't found the Saints cover yet. I don't think there's an Indy one.

They didn't want to overlap with him being on the cover of Who Gives a Fuck Magazine.

 

How funny would it be if the camera cut to Jim Irsay in the middle of Sunday's game and he's just sitting there playing some James Taylor?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped the game during a Jets offensive drive to have him perform on the field.

 

Kind of like that punt, pass and kick bullshit from the last game. They couldn't do that shit during the commercial?

I thought the same thing... Actually, they returned from a commercial to show that crap... I guess it pleased a handful of kids and parents... I missed the Irsay session somehow...
