Yeah, because our running game has really been lagging behind.

    silly article.

both russell and sanchez were blessed with the physical talents necessary to be a quarterback in the nfl.

unfortunately, one of them doesn't seem all too concerned on how to improve their game in order to stay in the nfl and chose to skip out on the last team meeting of the season to go to vegas.

fortunately, we have the other guy.

Gotta love the media...Seriously no one should ever be compared to that waste of cap space. One of the worst busts EVER.

Sanchez is the man. He will be a great NFL QB. I am so excited for his future, but for now, I don't mind him managing the Jets to their 2nd title.

The funny thing is, maybe Russel would of been good if he were on a winning team.

I mean there was Joey Harrington and David Carr, who in my opinion both could of been good QBs if they were drafted and played on good systems.

But instead they played on terrible teams, under terrible conditions and lost all confidence and ended up being garbage.

With the way Sanchez is playing I cant see him being a bust, simply because theres so much support behind him.

What many people don't realize is that 15 of the 20 picks (67%) came in 4 games and 9 in 2 games....

    TJ started off pretty crappy.

I know in most fantasy football leagues this guy got dropped fast by week 3-4.

And then he eventually heated up when the Jet realized Sanchez wasnt going to play like he did the first 4 weeks the whole season.

Is this guy seriously trying to imply that Greene going for more than 100 yards in back-to-back playoff games somehow means that he's going to tear his ACL next season? Or have contract squabbles? Certainly no one can be that stupid, right?

What I find most amazing about this is that apparently ESPN has completely abandoned any idea of having editors look at what columnists write, and kill moronic lunacy that embarrasses the organization.

Edit: I'd also be interested to know how the team that led the league in rushing, was fifth in yards per carry, was second in rushing TDs, and was second in rushes of at least 20 yards managed to do it with the 7th best line and 19th and 32nd best running backs.

Saying that Greene outperformed Jones all year is a ridiculous statement. Greene wasn't even active for part of the season; while he was sitting, Jones was eating up a ton of carries. That's a huge reason why Greene has been fresh enough to tear it up in the playoffs.

Additionally, it completely ignores the contributions that Jones has made in the passing game (you don't often see Greene blocking anyone on pass plays.)

I'm not trying to minimize how good Greene's been, because he's been outstanding. But let's not sell Jones short.

Oh I know TJ eventually became a beast.

But until that game vs Buffalo where TJ came out, Jet fans were screaming for his head.

Weeks 1-5 I think TJ had maybe like 250 yards total and was avging barely over 3 YPC. It wasnt until that buffalo game week 6 where he became a beast.

Greene did block someone on the throw to Keller for a TD in the Chargers game so he has been improving there

ESPN.com has been almost as bad as the Fat Man on FAN in its criticism of the Jets. Every article, whether it is by Clayton or this clown or someone else talks about how the Jets are lucky to be here, lucky to win, are going to lose, how Revis did not deserve the DMVP, Sanchez will stink, etc. Ryan is right. To the media, it is three home teams and high seeds and the #@$%&* Jets.
