I wish I could remember my original TGG birthdate. Everything reset after Petro moved the site back in late 2002. Or was it the big crash? I didn't follow the Jets as closely as most members when I first signed up, so I would usually get owned pretty quickly, and just ended up lurking. Green Guy would constantly harp on me. I was too pro-Herm for whatever reason.
Like Mack I came over from ESPN when that place went to bloody hell. 10 years served. What was officially the 1st year?
Can't believe I've been on this site for this long. The years do fly by. I don't post as much as I used to, but visit everyday. Enjoying the playoof ride and glad to be going along with you guys.
I started the site in July of 2000 but with no message board. Then, a few months later, people began asking for a message board because the ESPN one sucked. So, I added the message board in October of 2000, I think. The board crashed in 2002, hence all old timers have their join date listed as August of 2002 instead of 2000.

Ah 2004. What a great year. Had a great paying job that had very little work for me to do so I found a great Jets website to waste away my days. Like most of the other oldies, I dont post as much but am always checking up on everyone. Last week, even with the Jets up by 10 with less than 5 minutes to go, I still wasnt sure they would win. :breakdance:
I don't post much but I have been on everyday for 7 years enjoying the banter. Love the site and love my Jets so much I finished my basement with green carpet and white tile and green and white walls. I even named my son Jett
I'm going on five years here this summer. 2009 is my 35th year watching the Jets. I should have put a little patch on my jersey for the games--with a Jet logo and 34 little Joe Beningos jumping off the Tappan Zee Bridge.

I don't post much but actually been around since before 9/11. Been a fan since I was a little kid in the 70s. Now my own little kids watch with me, have their little Jets shirts and backpacks, and just maybe, if this team is about to go on a multi-year run of dominance like I think they might, they won't have the lifelong emotional scars we grownups all have! Big thanks to Petrozza for maintaining this site and all the regulars who just yak on and on and provide interesting reading material for me during lunch and late night visits.
Hey yes we did, how are you and how's your daughter. Wow, mine is probably the age now that yours was when me met that day. That was a good game, Jets beat the Jags on a last second TD pass from Pennington. But those days (Herm, Chad) seem so long ago and miserable.
I lurked for about 3 years before registering. I tried to register, but never got an email confirmation. I kept trying, but it wouldn't let me use my e-mail since it was "already registered". Anyway, one day I signed up with my roommates email and then switched my email address after I signed up
