Well guys yesterday was the most awesome day for me as a Jet fan in 25 years. For those of you not fortunate enough to be there in person I want to share the joy and adrenaline we had in support of our team. I was down at field level right there by Mark Sanchez?s dad surrounded by a large and brave group of green and white. When Mark came bye right before the start of the game to say hello to his dad the hype was unbelievable. The stadium was rocking, louder than ever before and the Charger fans behind us trash talking with screaming chants like J.E.T.S, suck, suck, suck. For the first half that is, as silence began to take over by the second half. We held our own and on the second half to a person we knew we were taking them down hard. It was a total team victory. We screamed and yelled and hi fived each other (and later some of the players) It was surreal. When Shone broke loose for the score the balloon deflated for the bolts and the Jet fans took over for good. Sure we made mistakes, like they did, but for once, there was never a doubt that we would blow the chance. There was a feeling in the air that said, no way in hell these are the SOJ. Never again. These are the new faces of the franchise with Rex, Mark, Shone, Revis et all. Guts, grit, glory and no dammed prevent defense. Yep?We play like Rex?s Jets. All of us fans knew we would go for 4th and 1. There was an aerie silence in the stadium just before TJ took the snap. Immediately we exploded screaming and the players turned around and cheered with us. At that point we owned the stadium .Unbelievable. Next week the battle will continue with the Colts. Can?t predict the final, but I know this. These Jets will give it all they have, including our fans. That is something that the sports writers and analysts have not figured out yet. From here on out, don?t ever sell us short. Unless you are a Jet fan, you don't really know how good we are now. Go Jets.
That was a great moment when Sanchez spoke to his dad before the game. You can tell that Sanchez has character in spades.
