Hey guys, I was at the game today. Jets fans were getting the business from the Charger faithful as you would expect, but I didn't see any undeserved security actions.

To be honest, I was embarrassed by the behavior of some of the Jet fans in the next section over. They were disrespectful and running their mouths from kick-off. One Jet fan did get thrown out and he absolutely deserved it. There were a few more that should have gone as well.

At the end of the game, Jet fans were whooping it up all over the stadium with no problems that I saw. A few Jet players did come back out on the field to thank / high-five Jet fans that had may their way to the first few rows behind the visitors bench.

I used to have season tix for the Chargers and saw this shit all the time... I wanna know what happens in the edit though. My guess and I'm certainly no lawyer but that guy certainly looks like he has a lawsuit that lawyers are probably already lining up to take. We need to get this out there for everybody to see the injustice in this video. That poor bastarc defending him got arrested too and he looked like a Charger fan... best comment though was "Your a waste of my tax dollars" and "Your really earning your 50K a year"

BTW the guys in the suits... one of them looks like Mortenson from far away. Seriously who the fuck wears a suit to a football game and sits in the stands. Was Obama there?

That's definately not atypical of the Charger fans though, I had some fat fuck throwing shit at my wife a few years ago by some fat fucking slob in a Chargers jersey and I got in his face...next thing I know security and police were escorting him out. Turns out some Charger fans in the section ran up and told security this asshole was throwing shit at a lady and they witnessed him doing it. They were all saying we're here to have fun and regardless of his jersey he was an asshole.

I love how the video cuts between him doing his little J-E-T-S cheer and him acting like a drunken lout resisting arrest though. I don't think the mayor of San Diego gives a crap about your email. California has bigger fish to fry, like a failing economy and Moon eyed hippies pissing themselves in the street.

This doesn't surprise me. I got a friend to head down with me at the last minute for the game today. He brought his camera in against my advice. During kneeldowns, we start to celebrate. He goes to take a picture and some fat cholo grabs the camera and stomps it on his way down the aisle. We call security over. The response? "How do I know you didn't just drop it?" Not ONE other person spoke up. I took that as a sign and we booked it as soon as the game was over.

I've been in worse situations, but that was Oakland. I never thought Qualcomm would start to look that way.

The guy really nailed it here. Next time you see a question on your state or township ballot whether you want to increase number of cops to "protect" you, think twice before saying yes like a brainwashed village idiot. Most likely you are going to be paying more taxes for people to give you speeding tickets and throwing you out of games to jail in handcuffs. That's the "protection" they are talking about.

I just feel bad for the guy and his girl, who must have made big plans for the game, special arrangements, just to root for their favorite team. It would have been a great night too for them with Jets winning a thriller. Instead they are going to spend a night in jail for doing absolutely nothing wrong.

I noticed it too but It looked like they were just recording him, stopped and then started again when the goon squad came.

Think about it. The People behind, In front and on the side are all pleading w/ the cops and him and the girl are the only 2 JETS fans.

    IMO, the edit is nothing.

Contact Arnie. I'm sure he'll be happy to hear that the SD Cops are throwing away tourist dollars and destroying the city's image when his state is on the brink of bankruptcy.

Lived in San Diego back in 1977-78. The cops were like Nazi storm troopers then. Sorry to see that some things haven't changed.

Sent the mayor an email also:

I am a Jets fan from New Jersey and have been a Jets season ticket holder for 30 years. I just saw an appalling video on You Tube of a Jets fan being arrested at the Q. It is apparent from the video that this fan's "crime" was to cheer for the Jets in the Chargers' stadium. Even the Chargers fans in the area were supporting this fan and questioning the police officers' behavior in arresting this man for "doing nothing." As a person who has attended almost 200 professional games at Shea Stadium and Giants Stadium, I have never see the opposing fans treated in this manner at Jets games. I thought New York was tough and San Diego friendly. I was obviously wrong.

I hope that you, as the highest political officer in San Diego, will do something to right this wrong. If this is the way visitors are treated in your city and fans of other teams are treated in your stadium, I have no desire to visit SD ever again. I would hope that this poor fan is immediately released, all charges are dropped, his ticket and other costs are refunded, and a public apology is made by the arresting officers, the SDPD, and the City of San Diego to the man involved and to all Jets fans.

    What a disgrace.

send this clip to the media and you can bet your ass hell care about it. nothing scares an elected official more than bad publicity, especially when it results from government agents abusing their positions (not to say that necessarily went on here)

That's messed up. Chargers fans are kind compared to Eagles fans though. Saw a similar event in Philadelphia once, except that the fans added to the ruckus by hurling beer, food and spit...
