I love how Stuckey always refuses to go down and is busting his ass for extra yardage.

please note the use and capitalization of the word COULD. that is very important.

i said he recognized the blown coverage, i said he showed he could get the ball downfield while running away from a rush. i gave him credit for those things.

i havent even bothered to let you all know what i thought about kellers blocking, sanchez play in the first 2 series, his poor reads and bad throws into coverage because its a waste of time. i was actually pretty happy with the way sanchez played this week. much more so than last week and that is what we are all looking for.

just because i didnt like the pick and will not watch everything he does through rose colored glasses dont get on my case and call me irrational. :)

i am much more positive about this kid this week than i have been, he actually showed me he could do some things. but i am not going to fall head over heels in man love with him like you guys.

You realize in the last two exhibition games Sanchez is running more of our O than Favre did at any point last year.

what was wrong with his play in the first series? keller was mauled, jones rushed for 4, short pass to leon for 4. yeah it was a 3 and out but he didn't do anything bad. 2nd series he was 2-2 quick pass to stuckey and a screen to cotch. the rest were runs. maybe u didn't like the way he handed the ball off?

yeah he made bad reads, hes a rookie, going to happen. however, nothing wrong with his first 2 series as u pointed out. i do not get on your case because u didn't like the pick, i get on your case because of your dislike for hispanics. dunno it just kinda bugs me.

I just watched the video again and guess what folks......

no one but Stuckey was going to catch that ball unless a defender was waiting for that pass on the edge of the sideline having a cup of tea waiting for the pick.

Sanchez put that ball out near the sideline as much as he could and if you look closely Stuckey had to fully extend his arms to make that catch and then cut up the field so that he didn't run out of bounds. If you look at the game replay with the camera angle that has Stuckey making the catch and then running at the camera up field, Stuckey catches the ball, stutter steps with one foot to not go out of bounds, and then turns up field.

This whole "defender can pick that off" opinion is invalid, wrong and just a blanket bullshit statement. the tape and physics don't lie. Its science.

Stuckey, if lazy, could have just walked out of bounds and that would have been it.

This whole debate is now bullshit..

That was a big time throw, kid.

    Fantastic job on that play.

yeah. Sitting on the sideline waiting to catch it, double tap and then get right out of bounds.

there is a 1 in 100,000 chance that is returned for more than 20 yards and a 1 in 1,000,000,000 chance its a pick 6.

But most jets fans would say "we are the Jets!!! That would definitely happen to us!!!!"

    ugh, I hate football fans.

You are arguing with some of the most life sucking joyless...... I have ever seen. These are burn the roof of your mouth on pizza and never eat it again people. Fuck that attitude.......

Good god nobody here is saying Sanchez is gonna be Joe Montana reincarnated, nobody is even saying Ken Obrien. It is just a bunch of fans that see some of his potential potential at a position this franchise has been woefully lacking for years........ and yeah happens to be the most important position of all.

Ok continue with the woe is me bullshit.

Yeah he really is. I always got the feeling that Favre expected the Jets to morph more towards him than he towards them. I'll bet Sanchez sleeps with the playbook under his pillow and Favre used it as a footrest at breakfast while he read the morning paper.

To have the poise to look through 3 different options, go back to Keller, and fire a ROCKET to him in the corner of the end zone while rolling out.

With all the playoff pressure, being a rookie, and his criticism.

That throw shows that we have a franchise QB, that can win us games in crunch time, he is clutch.

That TD pass to Keller was a big time throw, kid.
