I was told from NFL.com that Cards holds the record for the most points allowed in 2 game span during playoff (90). It also said it belonged to Dolphags (1999-2000) till this Cards shredded the record, saying the phags gave up 17 against the then-AFC Seahawks, then 62 to the Jags. (It was the last game for that fag, Marino as well.)

62!! This got me thinking... what's the record for the most point allowed in a single game in a playoff? When I searched the most lopsided loss, I found 73-0 pounding by the bears (1940) but was that in the playoff? If not, who holds that record?

The Bears beat the Redskins 73-0 in the NFL Championship Game. So yes that was a playoff game

73-0 in a championship game... That's just rude.

It all stemmed from the Redskins owner George Preston Marshall calling the Bears crybabies after they beat them 7-3 earlier in the season. George Halas was so pissed he brought in Clark Shaughnessy to teach the Bears the T formation then used the T formation to tear up the Redskins for 382 rushing yards.
