Obviously all hypothetical: Time to focus on the advantages of playing a game against a passing team two straight weeks. The only problem is that Indy has managed to find a nice run timeshare lately. As long as we just focus on pounding the ball up the middle, it should be a good game. I saw way too many rushes in the last game in which we were trying to get the edge against that Indy speed.
The RAVENS were absolutely JERKED on that last drive. -the PI call? It's not PI if it isn't catchable -H2H hit? BS!!! -Only 3 seconds run off the clock on the 2nd to last play?
My wife's take on the game: "Shannon Sharpe looks like a black vampire. What the cuss is he wearing?" Sometimes it's nice to have the woman's perspective.
i disagree with both assesments of the flags...clearly PI the guy was draped allll over him and by league rules ray lewis nailed him with his helmet... the final point is a fair one for sure... i think the Ravens jerked themselves more than were jerked
oh i see lol thats why i was confused i took it as a joke but i clearly see your point...i agree that the rule is bullshit but it is the rule and by rule that is a flag that is what i am saying...i don't analyze a play based on what the rule could or should be you know? bottom line is lewis made first contact with his head...he could of attempted the tackle in many other ways like with his shoulder...i mean look at the replay that is just dangerous
I agree w/ Cowher...you can't just go 3 and out. I said it b4... If they put 8 in the box early in the game, make em pay
Bwahahahaha! Did she really say "What the cuss"? Because that would be awesome. San Diego delenda est.
Draped all over him? Crown of the helmet? Are we watching the same game? On the PI, He gave him a 10 yd cusion and then he made contact and the ball was waaay over his head. Illegal contact? Sure but that's not what they called. That was NOT PI Speared? That's not spearing. Did he lean in w/ the head? Yes but the H2H was incidental and Not "Hitting a defensless receiver" which is what the ref said.. That is just BS. Helmets will make contact on almost everyplay...and in the playoffs, where rules are obviously called for the purpose of offense (See 5yd illegal contact) the fact that they make that call is just BS.
