The nice thing is that there won't be a salary cap next year and it looks like with the economy the way it is, more teams are going to be spending less while we can spend more.

Same here. I have always been a huge supporter of Tannenbaum.

Okay...I thought you had some inside information on certain decisions he was a part of and such.

 

I know who he is but ndmick made it sound like he had inside information and I was wondering what they were.

 

^ I did search for some extra tidbits but came up empty. EDIT!!!!:: I found it! Thanks to WSW's article about Sanchez being drafted - Tanny is quoted saying Joey is one of his "go to guys." Its all I got.

I was speaking in general terms of what Joey does to help the draft process along.

Ever since that article about Mangini pulling the power play in the draft room to draft Gholston, I've wondered if Joey spoke up and argued against it, because he and his staff wanted McKelvin at #6.

 

This morning C.Mortensen said he thought Tanny should get executive of the year.

 

McKelvin and Revis would have been awesome!!

 

the best tandem in the NFL for 4+ years, and McKelvin on kickoff returns would be unfair to other teams.
