Headed to the Jets Shop today...

    I don't have much Jets gear, mainly due to the fact that I'm a starving artist and don't have much disposable income, but I'm psyched as hell for this game on Sunday and it's finally time to get geared up properly.

    I'm heading to the Jets Shop in midtown today to pick up a jersey (replica - can't spend the big bucks on the official) and maybe a couple of other items. Will it be Revis or Greene... hmmmm... not sure yet.

    I'll post a pic of myself in the new regalia when I get back later. Anyone else rockin some new Jets threads this week? Whatcha got?

    As much as Revis is undeniably the man, I'm leaning towards Greene at the moment - my new favorite Jet.

    That place is SOOOO tiny-

    If you are going to the city just for that purpose, don't. It looks much bigger in pics, and other places have the same merchandise and more.

    Just thought I'd give you a heads up, I was disappointed in my trip there.

    Why go to the Jets shop when you can find tons of stores like Modells and Sports Authority hawking the goods. You're paying an ultra-premium when purchasing anything there.

    This could of course be the reason why I never see anyone even browsing in the store.

    Really? I've walked past it before and it seemed pretty big. I'm in BK so it's no big deal for me to hop on the train to midtown. Is there a better spot you know of?

    I went to Modells last year thinking about getting an LW jersey and they didn't have my size - or the color I wanted - seemed like a really limited selection and the same price as the Jets Shop ($80)

    Lol, I am a dude, and no, there will be no G-strings purchased.

    Just checked out the local Modells on Flatbush before making a trip into the city and they had nothing - one rack of jerseys and every single one was Sanchez...wtf?

    Not sure if anyone has a Sports Authority store nearby- they appear to have a much better selection of Jets merchandise.
