Well, for once he has given the Jets credit. But he's still a shmuck and I don't care anymore if he gives the Jets credit either thru WFAN or his NBC show on Sunday Nights. He is an ass and that's it.
Don't be fooled, he tends to be more fair to the Jets on NBC because he doesn't have people calling into that show. He'll probably be back to his douchy self at 1 PM today.
No doubt in my mind about this! The screener is looking for fans to say dumb shit and get into a fight with Mike on air - makes for good radio (in their opinion, anyway).
Francesca? Traveling today... if anyone can post what that fat turd says today, I'd appreciate it. Though I'm predicting... "Clearly the Bengals were the worst division champion in the last ten years..." "I told you their defense was overrated, see what Benson did?" "This team will get obliterated by the Chargers..." etc etc....
Also, if someone is willing to post a link of this station and tell me the time it's on so I can finally see what the big deal is with this guy... Thanks in advance
who cares what he says? he is always wrong and obnoxious when it comes to the JETS. I used to enjoy mike & the dog. But it got old like 5 years ago and now its simply unlistenable w/mike sounding like a cranky old loser. I will only listen to 1050 which has much better guests and hosts who actually like the Jets and want to actually talk football with fans rather than attack people.
and the who cares what he says responses begin i think a lot of people care what he says since he's a sports media stronghold in NY i think its more about hearing the stupid things he is bound to say and to hear the underlying pain in his voice given the reality of the situation...its just entertainment
as soon as someone calls up and and thinks the Jets have a solid chance he's going to unload and start killing the Jets. he still wants that colt matchup. unfortunately for him, if theres a colt matchup the jet fans will have plenty of arguments on why the Jets can win because they would have just beaten the Chargers.
