sorry, logic doesn't allow you to make up what someone else would have done just so it suits your argument, it requires you to deal with reality and compare actual events. poor ignorant junc, you mask your ignorance with condescension. it's okay, at least the Fin fans admire you.
You admire me too and I really appreciate that. Instead of taking shots at me how about you just try to prove your point? just get involved in the discussion?
there is no discussion with you because you simply ignore the other parties arguments. see, a discussion would require you to actually address them.
I don't ignore. I love learning new things so if someone poitns out something new and relevant tot he discussion I take that and i'll use it during another discussion. I don't accept lame excuses though which is all the Manning backers have to defend his postseason performances. Show me facts, show me something to change my mind. What's funny though is you say that about me but not about Murrell(in this case). he's not giving Brady ANY credit- can you take someone serious in a discussion like this who can't give a great QB like Brady any credit? I think Murrell is a great, knowledgeable poster but he's clouded by his hate of NE and Brady.
Here's my take on OT and I've said this for over 10 years already. There are 3 Facets to a team. Offense Defense Special Teams In overtime in order to decide the best TEAM all 3 Facets need to get a crack. SO IMO- Each Team get 1 possession then it becomes Sudden Death. NO College BS either. Coin Toss only decides who gets the ball first so it won't Dictate a winner. If you score, You Kickoff. You have to stop em for the win. If no team scores after 1 possession it's SD! If Both score an even amount It's SD!
Get this shit in another thread, this thread is for condemning the league-sanctioned fellating that Peyton Manning receives.
I guarantee you, when Manning loses a game because of the coin toss he will cry his onion head and the NFL will revisit the sitchooashun Why thank you sir.....
Someone said it earlier in the thread about Bill Polian (sp) getting the rules changed. He is on a rules committee for the NFL and has some pull. The whole league is now here to protect QB's only so it shouldn't be surprising that QB's benefit from the rules. I think it makes records held by QB's of the past more impressive and also more susceptible to being broken, which is a crock in my opinion.
Rerouting the WR at the line? Pass interference. Jockeying for position while the ball is in the air? Pass interference. Hit the QB when the ball is not in his hands? Pass interference. Hit the QB when the ball is in his hands? Pass interference. Hit the ball before it is in the receiver's hands? Pass interference. Intercepting the pass? Unsportsman-like conduct, 15 yard penalty and an ejection. San Diego delenda est.
 I knew this would happen though i am glad it is happening b/c it means NE is eliminated. he was terrible yesterday, it was a very Manning-like performance which he only has 2-3 of in his postseason career. Just like Jeter can have an off series, Brady is allowed an off game. He's already done enough to cement his status.
