A lot of people did. That's how he slipped down to 25th or so. SF had no business taking a QB #1 in that draft anyway, but if they were going to, they clearly chose the wrong one. What I hate to see is people still bashing on him the last two seasons. He's a top ten quarterback, without a doubt. He was taking sacks at the beginning of the season because he's the kind to take a sack instead of forcing one, and the OL was dreadful with all the injuries. Now that they have their regular OL, he's been tearing up the league.
That was a ridiculously hard catch, Braylon would've definitely caught that one. He has no problem with the impossible ones.
Seeing the BenGALS, GAYtriots, FUDGEPACKERS & TARDS all Play let's me appreciate just how great our defense is.
Rodgers just got lucky. Wilson taking out McFadden just saved an INT. McFadden coming out here could be huge. San Diego delenda est.
Honestly, Favre sticking around may have been the best thing for Rodgers career. Jeff Tedford's QBs have never been able to make the leap to being effective pros because Tedford's system was hyper-simplified for them. Harrington, Smith, and Boller before him all had the physical tools too, but Rodgers was the only one who had the time to sit and re-learn how to make decisions as a quarterback.
Wow. Rolle has to be careful on that one. Holding on that long could have been defensive delay of game if Rodgers tried to run the hurry up and shoving Finley could have drawn an unnecessary roughness penalty. Good no call on the latter. San Diego delenda est.
I agree. He has been spectacular since getting the starting job and a lot of that does have to do with sitting behind Favre and learning from McCarthy.
45-44 XP ties it Havner with another TD He's like Mike Vrabel LB that also plays FB on the goal line sets
